The hotel is somewhat dated with old rooms, but service is good. Swimming pool area fine and clean. Breakfast somewhat basic, but adequate. Noisy school at the hotel, but a quiet night. Got a room with no view or balcony, but had it switched to a better one after two days. All the sea facing rooms were occupied, though.
This is a proper old style Italian hotel. Fabulous location overlooking the bay of naples. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Standard bedrooms are not great but the superior rooms are great. Very quiet in October but I'm sure it's different in August
Great dining area and nice rooms. Great veiw
we stayed in a superior room with seaview ( 322) . A very nice renovated room with great view on the swimmingpool , the sea and the Vesuvius. The hotel has a nice garden ,swimmingpool and terrace. Everything is clean and tidy.
The complete staff was very helpfull , and organised the tours for Vesuvius , Pompei and the Amalfi coast for us. We where picked at the hotel for the tours. The breakfast was good and we loved the possibility to ask for baked eggs instead of cooked eggs. Although breakfast start at 07.00 we asked for a breakfast at 06.20 our last day because the Curreri bus was leaving al 06.50 to the airport. That was no problem and we got a full breakfast. Thanks for that. The location of the hotel is perfect . The airportbustransfer Curreri ( € 20 vice versa) stops in front of the hotel and the trainstation is 5 minuten walk for easy access to Sorrento ( 10 min) and to Napels. Ideal. The hotel is near to the centrum .Vico Equense is a nice village with enough restaurants within 300 meters and not so crowded as Sorrento.
We had a veru nice stay in hotel Aequa
Nice hotel but very hectic, there were always 2-3 men at the reception busy with some paper administration. Old furniture but fine. Safe in the room (ours was locked but somebody came quickly to reset it).
Not very good
the hotel is very good
Stayed for 1 week, friendly and helpful staff with good English. Rooms were basic, but clean and fresh towels daily. Gardens are absolutely amazing, definitely the main selling point, plants are mature and well maintained with jasmine and lemon trees and magnolias. The pool is a sun trap and was clean and well maintained. Food could have been more inventive, but what they lacked in diversity they made up for in courses! Whilst we were there there were at least 2 local weddings and a 2 other parties so it seems well used by the locals, which I take as a good sign. I would happily return, it's only a few minutes walk from the train station, so well situated to access local historic sites.
Amazing experience! Have been there for work, and did not know the place: great welcome, everyone is kind and helpful, the rooms a large and new, the view unique!
Good position in interesting non-touristy town on the Amalfi coast. You can get anywhere you need with the circumvesuviana train. Rooms good but food dull and unimaginative.
