In the UK this place would be called a service station because that's basically what it is (minus the fuel pumps), nice though, they don't have English tea and it's crazy expensive! At the time of writing this, these are the closest toilets you will find to Kerio volcano, you have been warned!

We stopped in for breakfast because the menu on the website was impressive. We were the only ones there and the worker told us it was a breakfast buffet and we could help ourselves. “Breakfast Buffet” was a log shot- more like a continental breakfast, bread, yogurt, cheese etc.. We had to ask for eggs, which came out watery. Most of the food on the line was low. To top it off the bill was very overpriced for what we received.

Friendly service and reasonable prices. Great for a quick stop and kid friendly. The lamb soup is delicious and the vegetarian pizza didn’t disappoint. Ask for “Batman”. Friendly and accommodating

We never ate a meal here, but stopped several times on our recent trip, as it was close to our cabin. There was always only one person there in the mornings and service was a bit slow, but they were very friendly. The selection in the shop is limited. We ordered espresso drinks one morning and were disappointed that they were not even filled all the way, but they cost a fortune (like everything). It has the potential of being a great little coffee shop, but we just weren't impressed. Also, we were told the only food option in the morning was the "buffet," but it looked like there was only cold cereal and nothing enjoyable. I wish we had gone for pizza, since we heard that was good.

Was dead, only 4 people eating at a single table. Was seated and given menus only to wait 10 minutes for the waitress to come take our order and was told there is no cook and we could only order pizza. Luckily it was only a 30 minute drive. We were going to go elsewhere but decided to get a couple pizzas. Good pizza but overpriced into. 30 bucks for a 12 to 14 inch pizza.

A nice place for a little break after visiting the crater lake nearby. Good choice for some snacks and drinks for the rest of the drive. Menu offers only pizza and soup. But they were quite tasty. Nice view over mountain and river.

The attendant at the front register was so helpful and so nice! He definitely made the visit worth it! Especially loved the suggestion of whip cream with my hot chocolate!

The place is beautiful and clean with a nice view of the passing river. There was a great live duett playing popular songs. The service was alright but it's disappointing when staff make no effort to try and learn the native language and aren't even humble about it. The pizzas were fine, a bit uneven; both in distribution of toppings and cooking.

Food was excellent and the staff was extremely nice. Beautiful surrounding although it's kind of in the middle of nowhere.
We had excursion to the somewhat nearby thingvellir until pretty late in the afternoon, and these tasty foods were very much welcomed.

Someone told me that they have the best pizza on Iceland - wellpizza was good, but I think, that there must be better pizza somewhere on this island :-)

We had two pizzas here after a day of sightseeing.

    Fast and pleasant service.
Good food, (can only speak for the pizza)

We had 2 x "Bleikja" (fish) with cooked vegetables with it, but the plate should also have potato mousse with dill with the "Bleikja" and the vegetables it if we should believe what the menu said! We complained to the waiter who said she would ask in the kitchen. Then she came back and said it should not be any dill mousse with it, the dill was on the vegetables she said! (What was she talking about!??). I wondered if she even asked in the kitchen. The portion was small (2 small flakes) for the very expensive price! The woman waiter was not friendly. The male waiters were more polite and positive. The male waiters get my 1 star with the good taste of the meal.

we arrived late one evening, and the staff was amiable and accommodating. the menu was wood fired pizza. absolutely delicious. as we had only just arrived to the area, we were happy to see their mini market filled with basic supplies as well as a lovely selection of fresh vegetables to bring to our rented cottage. the exterior of the building belies the gorgeous interior design. well worth a stop at the end of your golden circle tour.
