My girlfriend and I had a great time and saw parts of Iceland not accessible from a car. It was absolutely gorgeous and worth the money.

I first didn't know which tour I would like to go, because there were so many beautiful things to discover on the various tours the company offers. After some time we decided to go on the 'Hot Springs and Glaciers' tour. It was an awesome experience to grasp the dimension of Europe's biggest glacier, Vatnajökull. We had a stopover at a very remote place you could barely reach by car, with a beautiful view towards the glacier. Just next to our landing spot, the earth was steaming. :-) It felt like being on a different planet!!
All in all it is worth to go on a flight with volcano heli. I would not have gotten to know Iceland as good as I did with the helicopter flight!response / report this review -

We had our first experience onboard the helicopter about a week ago and it was amazing, felt very comfortable inside the helicopter. Matthias is a very experienced helicopter pilot and have vast knowledge on the geological formation and the landmarks within the city. Definitely recommended for small group and everything can be tailored to needs. Looking forward for the next photography flight with him.

It was an awesome ride, and we had a fantastic pilot and guide, Mat. He was sure to go through all safety briefings, and made sure we felt comfortable during the ride.

It's such an amazing experience. We flew over the glacier and saw the amazing landscape. The pilot was so nice, he told us a lot about the structures of the glacier and the eruptions ever happened.
