I did not find any Tourist Office there. The place you are probably looking for is located north from the city lake of Reykjavík. Just follow red "Tourist office" signs

Café gratuit, et quelques employées parlant Français, ils peuvent également réserver des places dans les cars et faire le change ( attention toutefois le taux de change n'est pas avantageux)

Don't go there. Keep walking and go to the City Hall office. Much nicer and better staff.
