  Verbúðin 66 is a wonderful little local restaurant in Hrisey. I had the Verbúðin burger which was absolutely delicious - the girls had the Fish and Chips, which they really enjoyed as well. Very fresh locally caught cod.
  Another real treat was that they serve ab unfiltered version of the local Lager Kaldi(brewed in Arskogssandur on the mainland)!
  
  We ally thoroughly enjoyed our food s the service and will definitely return again if we have the opportunity!

  Enjoyed excellent food at Verbúđin 66 with my family of four. My daughter has serious dairy and egg allergy but the chef was able to prepare a fish plate for her which was a success, something that so many restaurants have a hard time doing.
  
  Verbudin also has a vegetarian options on the menu. We didn't try it, this time around.
  Also they make very good coffee.
  
  The pricing on all the dishes is very reasonable, I even think this is one of the cheapest meal deals you can find in the Akureyri area.
  
  Excellent service and I do highly recommend that all who visit Hrísey, try out Verbúđin.

  Lovely chicken salad and the fish and chips is just fantastic! The owners are also really cool people! Great coffee and cake for desert
