  If seeing the Northern Lights is a priority for you then look no further. I have very little doubt that your highest percentage chance to see the lights is if you are with Adam from Try Iceland. Obviously the lights need to be active but if they are, Adam will find them.
  
  We booked the Secret Lagoon and Northern Lights tour. As we left our hotel for the trip our concierge told us that we had no chance of seeing the lights that night and that most of the other tours had already canceled their trips. I was a bit deflated as a major reason we booked Iceland was to get a glimpse at the lights. When we got in the car with Adam I asked about this and he already had a plan. He had cross referenced multiple cloud mappings to find an area that was consistently marked as clear of clouds. He went out of his way to alter the tour with the goal of seeing the lights. We drove various backroads in search of clear skies and a shot at seeing the natural phenomenon.
  
  After a little while Adam said he was starting to get glimpses of activity and pulled off. I couldn’t see anything at first but his experience proved true. After a few patient minutes the areas he had referenced began to brighten and turn green. As the night progressed the sky put on an incredible show as the lights continued to grow and stretch across the horizon. By the end of the night we had spent hours watching the sky change in what was an experience that exceeded our expectations.
  
  The cherry on top? He’s a phenomenal photographer who is clearly experienced in photographing the Northern Lights. He took countless pictures of my wife and I as the lights danced in the background. These will be pictures we show family and friends for the rest of our life and they all came as an added bonus of booking with Try Iceland.
  
  Adams passion for making sure his guests have the best experience possible combined with his love and knowledge of the natural Iceland make him the best possible tour guide and this the best possible tour of seeing the Northern Lights.

  We took the tour with Adam of Try Iceland on our first day in Iceland. After a week here of seeing half the island, this day we saw the most and the best scenery. Nearly half of our photo book is of this one day.
  I've never had a tour guide more considerate, fun, and more fit for the job! It will be a jammed pack day.
  Our trip was all day in the highlands. Try Iceland's vehicle is suited to go everywhere. We passed several vehicles that could stay on the gravel road, but to access some of the most beautiful spots a heavy duty 4x4 is required.
  We were able to see a total of 4 waterfalls (2 the most beautiful we've seen in Iceland!), multiple volcanoes craters (the most massive you'll ever see), hike in the steaming lava fields, relax in a hot spring, and see some of the most beautiful vistas in Iceland.
  Adam was the best! I definitely would recommend booking in advance. We were lucky and able to slip in a few weeks before to fit our schedule.

  I can't rave enough about this company and the tour we decided on - Landmannalaugar by Super Jeep. It was unbelievable. My husband and I did a northern European cruise and one of our overnight stops was in Reykjavik. We knew we wanted to travel and see some of the non-touristy spots in central Iceland and definitely see the colorful mountains of Landmannalaugar. Every stop we made was even more beautiful than the next. Our driver Adam was so knowledgeable and really made the trip that much better. The tour was beyond worth it and I would recommend it again and again!
