Amazing place to see the glacier from up close with a nice tint of adventure! Be carefull tho, the road is full of bumps and holes!

Also watch you’re step because one wrong slip could end your life! So stay awake

Amazing views of the glacier, totally worth the rocky drive in (beware of potholes). The coolest site on our Iceland trip so far.

Aloha! One of the very few spots where you can be really close to a glacier. So Magestic and Beautiful. Perfect to see a most peaceful view of where a scene from Batman Begins was filmed. It is where Christian Bale and Liam Neeson were training. Theres a clear pathway on the left to do a quick view of the glacier further down. Be careful and be safe. Possibly not the safest with small children. I have seen other people take photos on the edges and I don't know why. Please don't do that.

The parking lot itself is nothing remarkable, but the nearby nature and hikes are breathtaking as you might expect in Iceland
