Wasn’t expecting much since we just wandered in off the street but had an amazing fish and chips special with an appetizer of asparagus soup. The waitress was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone in the area (local or travelers)

My friends and I were staying nearby and were looking for a place for dinner that wouldn’t break the bank. I’m glad we found this place because it was a quality restaurant with good service in the middle of Selfoss. They were decently priced (for Icelandic prices) and the food was fresh and cooked well. Our server was very friendly and they seemed to be a very popular place - with the locals and the tourists. If I were ever back I would come here again!

Good value for your money (in Iceland). The tomato soup was tasty, but the warm bread and butter were excellent. The fish and chips were good. The fish was in large tender chunks and the batter light and crispy. Not greasy.

The food was amazing! After shopping in bonus, we decided to stop around and check the menu. I asked if they had soup because of my daughter, they said yes and we stayed.
Ordered that asparagus soup.. Delicious. Had the baked salmon and the lamb..
The Lamb was the star of the night.

Cozy restaurant from what it seemed to be family owned. Very good food!

Food was super good and the service is excellent, the waiter helped us to find local attractions to visit . Located in the city center , design is a bit odd but overall we liked it a lot :) thank you!

Good attempt at an American menu but pretty meh. If you are an American in Iceland you are better off eating somewhere else with Icelandic food.

Ok so we caved and had the horse. It was amazing!!! I would recommend this place to anyone! Amazing large meals and icecream for after. Delicious.

service was lacking, attention was more on the kitchen full of laughter so attention to the room full of guests suffered. french fries were waaaay too salty. our "well done" burgers were basically burnt and our 'well done bacon' was semi slimy/burnt/crispy quite weird. tiny portions of bernaise sauce/coctail sauce .. and all in all quite expensive with 3 basic burgers with water for ~10K ISK.

having said all that this was an Ok experience, the description above sounds dramatic but it really wasn't terrible.. just lacking these details that amounted to something that could have been a great hangover-sunday dinner to an mediocre experience.

Very good ribs and nice halibut, couldn't ask for more! For Icelandic standards not too expensive, and their hamburgers are a cheaper option.

Nice & Quiet location visited on a weekday evening and was the only visitors to the restaurant. Food was amazing. Try the horse dish!
