Wow this ice cream is amazing. Our tour guide says it is the best in Iceland and I believe it. Straight from their cows to our cones!

This place is fantastic! Best ice cream I've ever had, made from milk from the cows on the farm. I got blueberry and my boyfriend got mango, both were delicious. Adorable and cozy interior with books and windows to the cow barn. I could spend hours just relaxing there reading. They even opened a barn door so we could pet the baby calves. Highly recommend a visit here.

A must go to place to eat after or before visiting the Geysir and Gullfoss. Great prices, amazing food and you must try the ice cream. Also you watch the cows eating whilst you eat. An experience!

We stayed at Gulfoss and the hotel was not serving meals that night so we tried the nearest place which was also not open. As it is a very remote area there is not a great deal of choice, we drove around trying to find somewhere to eat. We passed Geysir, but it was confusing where the restaurant was at this hotel as there was a lot of work going on and the visitor centre was closing for the day. We drove on and eventually found this restaurant which we certainly would not have done if the other places had been available. The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful and informative. The food was outstanding and the location stunning. We had a lovely experience and would highly recommend this restaurant.

It may be a bit unnerving for some to watch what you are eating munching on hay out the indoor window but it is well worth it. Great food and I must say that the ice cream was stellar! Well worth a visit. It will put a smile on your face.

The hamburger was really good and it deserves 5 stars but the ice cream was not. As Italian, I would not recommend it, it is not good and too expensive for its quality.

Outstanding local food. We went looking for a lunch stop and stumbled upon this fantastic place for a lunch we will not forget! This is a local farmhouse with a newly added restaurant, bar, and ice cream shop. And superbly clean with a welcoming atmosphere. We had a lunch (one of our best on this trip!) of local grilled trout, farm vegetables, soup, and homemade butter. We couldn't resist the ice cream and were again pleasantly surprised with the high quality. Very highly recommended lunch or rest stop for the Iceland traveler looking for a pleasant meal. And you'll be glad to leave behind the bustling tourist crowd at this place and for once find a good, local restaurant with chefs that really know what they're doing.
