Probably the best tasting meal I had while traveling in Iceland, it was very cheap and a large portion. The beer on tap is delicious as well! I would strongly recommend.

Nice coffeebar next to supermarket. We have relaxed in this bar on our roadtrip in Iceland with some good coffee en homemade cake.

Simple concept of mix-your-own bowl of vaguely East Asian food. Reasonably well flavoured and some of the cheapest we found on Iceland and with large portions to boot. For a cafeteria style meal it shines, but it is what it is, and you shouldn't expect to be amazed.

Passing through Selfoss and stopped to admire the view from the bridge when I stumbled across Yellow.
Good portion sizes, reasonably priced (taking into account where we are), super friendly staff, free wifi, vegan options, take-away etc etc. Well worth stopping by.

Excellent taste, large portions and great value.

I got a bowl of chicken stay with salad and sweet potato for about $15 USD. There's a lot of chicken there! The best value for the money I found in Iceland. Maybe because they cater to locals rather than tourists.

They also have a espresso machine for a nice coffee.

Happy to find a health foods restaurant and cafe in Selfoss, especially one with vegan options. We got two wraps and a couple coffees. It was rather expensive, even when considering Iceland's bloated food prices, but I was happy to pay it for a vegan meal. Quiet little cafe, worth a visit.

What a hidden gem! From one restaurant owner to another, you guys must start greeting people at the door. Sat here and drank a beer and watched 90% of the people who walked in, walked out. Show them what you have to offer! Explain the concept! Lovey space and concept just missing he mark on greeting. So close!!

I really needed a cafe while driving through Selfoss and I got lucky with yellow. The staff is very friendly, their smoothies are good and if I had to put a word to the decor/vibe in here I would say industrial meets cozy. Definitely worth a stop in!

Absolutely loved this place. Two people-we each had a "bowl" off the menu and enjoyed every bite. It is a stylish coffee house that serves decent food as well, plus free WiFi.

Lovely little place. Came here with locals would've never found it is next to the grocery store. Son had a teriyaki beef sandwich unbelievably delicious. But huge. I enjoyed the chicken satay noodles. They also had delicious fruit smoothies.

Loved the bowl! Had mine with chicken (moist and flavorful), noodles & sweet potato mash both had Indian flavors, topped with green curry (2 other flavors to choose from) and a side salad! So happy for real, healthy and delicious food!
