Good filter coffee and hot chocolate at this place. We took shelter here on a snowy day, and the homey feel was perfect for sipping on some drinks and watching the snow fall.

It's casual. It's quaint. It's quasual. I really liked this place and would come here again. In fact, I've already come here again since we were here yesterday. We could even come here again, again.

It's a recommended place to be peacefully drinking a coffee or a beer and feel the Iceland ambient. The area around is also awesome.

Nice and cosy place but when busy orders can take a long while. I do recommend it though

Board games were dated. The place was dusty more than cosy. Food was sub-standard. Barely any chicken in the chicken panini!

Nice ambience but absolutely awful food. I'd recommend tea/ coffee but not the food.

Definitely a mellow, cosy place to hang out at any time of day, but not for cake. And my purpose in life is to review cakes and baked goods and these aren't homemade as their Facebook claims. Well, except for the carrot cake, which wasn't bad.

Cozy, atmospheric, great views out, nice coffee. Slightly indie / romantic / rustic. I strongly recommend.

Comfy, spacious cafe with an ever so slightly Bohemian feel. I'd go back.

Very cozy spot to relax after walking all day, but a simple cappuccino took over 20 mins.
It was worth it but damnnnnn

An absolutely lovely place. The aesthetic, the food, the staff, the atmosphereit's all amazing. Sit near a window and watch the people of Reykjavik go about their day, or get settled into a comfy sofa and relaxeither way it's a joy. Love it.

I really liked the atmosphere of this place, it was really cosy with all the different chairs and sofas. I had the soup of the day special which was only about 1500 kr and very delicious! The music selection was also great 👍 I'd definitely come here again the next time I'm in Reykjavik.

Eclectic furniture in a hip cafe. Good coffee. Surprisingly a glass of milk was only 175 ISK.
Although the furniture looks nice the chairs are not build for comfort, at least the one I got. Both upstairs and downstairs seating.

A really cozy place with a comfortable atmosphere. The walls and furniture and decoration has a lovely old fashioned feel to it. We had bagels, ham and cheese & salmon, coffee and orange juice. Would definitely recommend, as everything was delicious

It's just okay and table and counter are pretty dirty. I think it's better to keep cleaner. They seem like too lazy to clear up tho.

Great place to have breakfast before heading out on a day tour or just before exploring the downtown rejkavik area. Friendly staff and good healthy options at a decent price

The most amazing coffee house in the city. Beautiful, full of nice people playing board games or chess, reading, or drinking coffee or beer with their friends. I love that I can have my pre-paid coffee card that they keep in their file: you just walk in, say your name and choose your hot drink. Feels like home.

Cozy little cafe like a family stofan.
The cappuccino is the best we discovered in 10 days in Iceland, the espresso used is full of flavours developing on the palate and the guy at the coffee machine knows what he's doing (I use a gastro machine myself and I'm a harsh critic). Cake was very good, too, and obviously made the same day.

I love how cozy and quiet Stofan is. It's perfect for cold dark days. After your first coffee purchase you get free refills, and happy hour is much longer than posted. Great environment for conversation with friends or to work on your laptop.

Phenomenal staff, great location, good coffee. I work remotely and visited this cafe for a day while I worked. The staff were very accommodating, and the WiFi was great. The Chicken Panini was outstanding, as well. I will definitely come back here on my next trip through Reykjavik.

Great place with vintage and cosy sofas. The daily soups are very delicious too. And I love how you can see the fresh veggies in the kitchen!
