Inattendue, cette église de style norvégien est située en bordure du champ de lave, face au fjord principal de l'île, juste à côté du port industriel.
L'accès à l'intérieur est souvent fermé hors saison, mais l'ensemble est très photogénique et constitue un point de départ plaisant pour une promenade

Just go. You want to. You’ll never forget this little church on the little island off the coast of Iceland. No matter the weather. No matter how crowded (it won’t be) make your way to this little church and relax a bit. It’s has a wonderful story and the caretaker is a great guy. If it’s closed, just ask around and you’ll find him.
