  Snail is a family owned business right on the way outout Reykjavik. The owners were very kind and the rates were better than any other rental company in the area. The car itself kept very warm and drove well. Sigrun, one of the business owners, was even kind enough to drive back to the snail office and then back to the bus station to return my wallet that I had left in our rental car. I would very much recommend Snail to any that are lucky enough to book them before they are all booked out.

  Loved our experience! Wonderful people and such a great way to see the country! Can't wait to come back. Arni and Sigrun are lovely and truly have a family of people from all over the world working for them. Highly recommend!

  We rented a snail for 10 days while we drove the ring road. The experience left nothing to be desired. Sigrun was a clear and prompt communicator though the planning stage. They picked us up. Gave us a comfy van which worked well and provided a WiFi box at almost no cost. Included was our last night in Iceland at their B&B and they arranged early morning travel for us to the airport. We read many horror stories about other rental companies in Iceland, but Snail was really well reviewed which is why we went with them. I'd give them 6 stars for customer service if I could. If you want a hassle free rental from a no BS company email Snail!

  Absolutely wonderful experience with this company. Sigrun and the rest of her staff went out of their way to make our holiday in Iceland as stress free as possible. Very fair prices and thry didn't nickle and dime us for anything. We had everything we needed in our campervan and then some! Would HIGHLY recommend this rental company. You won't be disappointed!

  Great van - a VW "Caddy", with a 2 meter (6'6") bed, stove, chairs and utensils. Very nice and helpful staff, especially Sigun and Saara (sic). Best affordable way to see Iceland!

  We loved our experience with Snail. Everything about them was wonderful. From the early pickup to how they thoughtfully stocked the van with everything we could need to their bnb. We rented a camper van and drove the ring road for 9 days. Van ran great, everything worked. We had a blast. Snail was easy to work with we were very pleased with them and would use them again and absolutely recommend them to anyone going to Iceland.

  We loved our little snail. There was everything we needed for camping, and the little Renault got us around Iceland safely and comfortably. Honestly with Iceland becoming as expensive as it is, this is the only viable way now to see the place.
  The pickup, nights accommodation and friendliness of everyone was great.

  Wonderful place. The owner's are very freindly. And their prices are the best in town. The cars are a bit older, but great value and they include all your camping gear(Most other companies charge extra per item). The Mrs. even gave me a tour of old Reykjavik before she dropped me off at the end. Very pleasant experience

  Snail is a small family-owned business. Their service is very friendly and helpful and the price for our little van was great. I thoroughly recommend renting your motorhome through them.
