Amazing! Great fish. Fancy cuisine. A real treat after a hike to see the puffins.

A place that looks kind of boring on the outside, but really cosy on the inside! The food was awesome and the staff super nice!

Slippurin is amazing in every way. Icelandic cuisine with a 21st century vision. Excellent meat and fish which has never been in a freezer, and excellent veg options too. Herbs and vegetables are foraged on the island and compliment the dishes and cocktails in a beautiful way. The service is very attentive and knowledgeable. If you are unfamiliar with the Icelandic kitchen, this is the best way to get acquainted with it. Vestmannaeyjar is a lovely setting for this exceptional family run restaurant.

Phenomenal food and good service! Went here for lunch. It's not the cheapest place but still not very expensive considering what you get. Recommended to go there!

The service, drinks, and food were amazing. Pricey but so is everything here, at least you'll be sure to enjoy it. The bread they brought out at the beginning was phenomenal.so were the crushed and fried potatoes and the date dessert.

One of my favourite in Iceland. Great fresh food and cocktails and good portions. Much of the ingredients are handpicked on the Island. Highly recommended.

Amazing food with a big emphasis on fish (obviously). Great interior and atmosphere. Our favourite spot in Iceland during a 10 day trip. Highly recommend.

We ate here on our first night in Iceland. We were jet lagged and tired from our red eye flight and action packed day (including an early morning dry suit dive and golden circle tour). We got the tasting menu which did not disappoint. Everything is made from ingredients from the island. The cocktails were also incredibly tasty. Mine was made with Arctic thyme and charred lemon. It was garnished with thyme flowers. I was craving it the entire week, especially while hiking around Iceland and seeing the attic thyme flowers on the hillside. We stayed until midnight eating and drinking, even though most of us hadn't slept in 48 hours.
