  We LOVED this campsite! Beautiful, near the river, and much quieter than the campsite in Egilstaðir. Free showers, nice staff, privacy, quiet atmosphere.

  we drove across Iceland and had one night at this campsite. We arrived late so as usual in Iceland, the reception was closed. We payed in the next morning and had a nice talk to the staff from the campsite. The campsite was clean, the toilets and showers also. Perfect!

  Simple clean and efficient. The little touches set this place apart and i would highly recommend to anyone on a budget who enjoys cleanliness and the small town aesthetic

  We stayed in the cottage #5, cute, well equipped place, warm and cosy. Quiet area with breathtaking views of the lake.

  We spent a night with the shared restroom option.
  The bedroom was big, clean and in a building situated in a residential quite zone, close to the main reception.
  The shared facilities was clean, and seems recently renovated, the living room big with a useful and well-stocked cooking area.
