We stayed at many hotels in our ring road trip and especially enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts were kind and accommodating, breakfast was fantastic, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Seyðisfjörður is beautiful!

This hotel is good. The breakfast at Hotel Aldan is included and is pretty good too. The rooms are basic, but they look modern. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is right in front of the Seyðisfjörður harbour, and the view is beautiful.
But the hotel should invest in blinds/curtains. We had a room on the first floor, facing the harbour. The sun shone bright through the door window all night (in May), and we couldn't sleep. We had to tape up tourist brochures on the window to get the room dark enough to sleep.response / report this review -

Nice hotel with affordable price for island but very small room. Breakfast at Aldan hotel house is however very good.

Great food and cute hotel. Probably one of the best places to stay in East Iceland. Most other places don't even come remotely close to this quality. The rooms are basic but have lots of charm.
