Amazing food that was a very nice treat for the end of our trip! We split the deal that allows the chef to choose 4 appetizers for you. It was just lovely.

I really liked this place. Very good value for money (Icelandic standards). You are very well welcomed from Friendly staff. You receive House made bread and house made vanilla butter. The Arctic char was plate was perfect. Langoustine as appetizers a must. There is also wide range of good desserts. My friend ordered old fashion cocktail, but was not well crafted at all and was very pricey

Waiters here are very good, they help You to choose the best table and eagerly recommend dishes or desserts. The fish soup I tried was delicious and served in a very unique way. It contains a "surprise" ingredients. Worth a try. Also arctic blue fish was amazing. You can actually see all the dishes at the time they are being prepared. Atmosphere is very nice there and comes along with a good mood.

I ordered the mushroom risotto, but it was extremely crunchy. I know risotto is supposed to have a bit of resistance, but this was like eating uncooked rice. My fiance and i wanted to try a nicer restaurant after a long day of travel, and this was one of the few that had a non-meat/vegetarian option and also served fish near our hotel. He loved his food, but the risotto was just not great.
The atmosphere was lovely and the wine was good though.

Very cosy atmosphere. Food and drink choices excellent. It was really busy but they just happened to have a table for 2 - everyone else was in larger groups.

Food was of excellent quality. We had the three course menu. For the main we could choose between fish or meat, both of which were delicious! Good, friendly service with a smile. The decor is very appealing and spacious as well.

Excellent food. Very slow service - they must have had some troubles in the kitchen. Very cossy place - but noisy. Prices in the middle/high end.

Service was a little slow, but the food was absolutely delicious and priced very fairly. A nice and relaxed atmosphere with no pretentiousness. We were given 15% off our bill and two free glasses of wine (which in Iceland is about £20!) due to the slow service, so it does seem like this place cares about its customers and that maybe the slow service was a one off. Definitely recommend!

So the food was pretty much good and priced accordingly for a multi-course dinner. The only issue is they're so slow it's ridiculous. We got a four Chef's Choice sampling of appetizers, and if we didn't tell them to get their ass in gear we would have easily been there for over 3 hours for appetizers that's way too slow and nobody wants to waste that much time at dinner.

Mozzarella foam! I am not totally committed to the "new cuisine" but mozzarella foam may make it happen. We had lunch here. I had slow cooked young halibut. I have never had young halibut till now but I don't think I will eat "old" halibut ever again. My friend had bacon and shrimp pasta with the above mentioned mozzarella foam. A new flavor, a new presentation, and a success.

Amazing restaurant. Came here twice on vacation. The ambience is relaxing while still maintaining a restaurant vibe. Great playlist accessible on YouTube. Food was great with filling portions given quality. My girlfriend and I came for lunch and recommend the lamb, pasta, beef sandwich, and burger. One of my favorite restaurants ever.

Brand new restaurant with really good cocktails and delicious food! The bread is also fantastic. They serve all the food in cool copper pots. Portions are a little on the small side so be prepared to spend more for a little extra food.
