Great customer service from beginning to end.
I always try to add a helicopter flight to our holiday itineraries. For our trip to the Arctic, Norway and Iceland, I researched a number of companies, and decided upon Reykjavik Helicopters because they were responsive, willing to accommodate my various requests, and very flexible with dates and times. Upon arriving In Iceland, we needed to make some changes to our daily activities and Friggy was really helpful and understanding of our need to tweak our reservation day and time. I'm not used to businesses being to happy to cancelling reservations
A couple of hours before our revised departure, I was a little worried about the weather and the prospect of poor conditions because we had been driving in rain back from the east coast. I'm an avid photographer and really wanted great lighting conditions. Friggy was so kind and gave me half hourly reports on the weather and assured me that everything was looking very good for our intended sunset departure.
When we arrived at the hangar, I was a little skeptical, because the operations seemed a little rinky-dink. It felt like someone's personal garage. Well, a garage belonging to a guy who owned a couple of helicopters. All of that was put to rest when we took off, because, of the dozen or so helicopter flights that I have taken over the past 25 years, I have never had the privilege to be in the company of such an accomplished pilot. He could literally land on a dime. No bumpy landings, no swaying with the wind. To top it off, he was very very nice!
By the time we landed on top of the glacier the weather could not have been more perfect. We had already been to the geysers, so Friggy informed the pilot to take us for a surprise landing that was not on our itinerary.
The entire flight, landings, and pilot's professionalism and expertise made it worth every penny (it was a lots of pennies).

We dropped in on these guys last minute, our last day in Iceland and they were able to accommodate us - and what an amazing trip we took! The pilots were professionals but fun and super informative. I felt safe and well taken care of, and best of all my girlfriend and I have amazing vacation memories that will last a lifetime!

On our recent and amazing trip to Iceland, my boyfriend surprised me with my first ever helicopter ride. It was the best way to see an incredible country and we loved every minute of it. Reynir, the pilot, was very professional and competent with a great deal of knowledge about Iceland. Fridgeir, who organised everything and then acted as our guide, was charming. We can't thank you both enough for such a fabulous trip and we can't wait to come back!

I flew with Reykjavik Helicopters as a photographer. The experience was Excellent. We covered the whole south coast of Iceland.
