The rental experience with Iceland Camping was so efficient and easy. They have a 24/7 room so you don't have to show up during opening hours, and send you all the relevant info before you get there. Although I didn't need to use it, they had a shelf of things that fellow travelers left behind and wanted to pay forward.

We booked our tent online in advance and got a key code from them to access their locker, so we could pick it up whenever we want. It was already there when we arrived and we couldn't be happier. We did not use the tent tho because the weather was really bad sadly, so we can't say anything about that. They gave us a hammer for free with our tent.

Great experience with Iceland Camping Equipment. I was able to pick up and return our wifi hotspot device with ease! Wifi was fast and reliable. When I thought I had issues with setting up the device, the staff were readily available. Would definitely recommend Iceland Camping Equipment to friends who are visiting Iceland!

During my trip around Iceland, I first stopped at this shop in Reykjavik to pick up gas and other camping supplies for the rest of the trip. I was happily surprised to encounter my first example of the kind and caring people I was to meet throughout this trip.

While buying these supplies, I received great advice on how to go about seeing certain sights, what to avoid, and fair prices on everything I purchased.

This set me up for a wonderful trip, and I am only too happy to recommend any and all who travel to Iceland to stop at this shop for their camping needs.

Rented a pocket WiFi device here at the last minute (which I highly recommend!). The price was reasonable and the staff gave me a quick rundown of how to use it and a number to call if I had any issues. Great experience overall and can't recommend them enough.

UPDATE: Rented WiFi through them again almost a year later when I went back to Iceland. They were even more helpful than before and a pleasure to work with. Even gave me a discount for being a return customer! Can’t recommend them enough!

Delphine was AMAZING. We had stumbled across the idea of renting equipment and camping our way around the ring road. I was able to easily place an order on their website from an online storefront of all the possible supplies we’d need, and then received an email with detailed instructions on how to pick them up at their 24/7 pickup & drop-off room (pictured). Upon picking up our items, Delphine had included a handwritten note explaining the basics of setting up our tent and even threw in some extra cotton liners for our sleeping bags in case it was colder than we expected! Dropping it off at their office was equally easy and they were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this to anyone!

Easy business to deal with. Down sleeping bags were comfortable. Liners small and restrictive. I didn't even use mine. Great place to rent all sorts of equipment and they have after hours pickup and drop off nearby.

Iceland Camping Equipment was the perfect choice for my trip to Iceland! All of the equipment I rented was in perfect condition. The tent, sleeping bags, inflatable mats (a must!), pillow, and cooler were exceptionally clean as well as easy to use and set up. Our electronics (GPS and inverter) worked like a charm and made traveling by car super easy. My friend and I aren't expert campers, but Iceland Camping Equipment helped make our camping experience a breeze. The weather in Iceland can be quite intense, but we found ourselves safe, dry, and warm inside of our tent. Their customer service was extremely helpful and responsive, and their 24-hour drop-off room worked perfectly with our travel plans. If you are going to Iceland and are unsure about camping or where to get your equipment, this is the place to go 100%

Iceland Camping Equipment is such a wonderful company to rent your camping needs from. The 4G wifi router was a must to have on our Ring Road adventure in Iceland. The most convenient part of it all is we were able to pick up and drop off the rental equipment after hours, which was clutch for our 2AM arrival to Reykjavik. We will definitely be renting from them whenever we go back to Iceland!

Super great service and the staff were so friendly and helpful! We rented sleeping bags and blankets and everything was clean. They also came with little sheet liners included in the price. You can drop off the equipment in a drop location (that they tell you when you pick your stuff up) during their closed hours. We arrived the day of and were able to rent stuff no problem.
