No thrills guest house with basic necessities. No extras like other guesthouses but the price is really good. Rooms were clean, location is great.

Great place. Out in the countryside, very peaceful. Beautiful large windows in our room. Clean rooms and restrooms. Restrooms are shared between guests in the house, but there are 2. Nice shared kitchen where you’re directed to clean up your used dishes, so it’s kept pretty neat. It was a good overnight stop on our route around Iceland.

Our stay was acceptable and good for a quick stay with cheap prices. The kitchen was medium equipped and it looked at some spots that the place was half done, holes in the walls, uncovered plug sockets There must be better places around at similar prices.

We wouldn't stay here again. Not worth the value, other similarly priced places provided a physical guest check in and an all inclusive breakfast. This place didn't come close.
Our room was spacious and warm but the walls were thin and we could hear everything from the kitchen and lounge area.
Every morning we were woken up by cabinet slams or the pump from the kitchen sink when in use. It wasn't very pleasant.response / report this review -

Self check-in was very comfortable. Our room was very small (2 single beds, a chair and some place to stand up - not enough space for luggage). Recommended only for shorter stay. The kitchen area was well equipped, although I was missing some basic things like sugar, salt, coffee. It was quite clean, reasonable for the price. Shared places like kitchen and bathroom were okay.The place itself is not so easy to reach, 4x4 car is highly recommended in the winter time.

La casa está súper limpia, tiene una cocina grande y bien equipada (aunque sería mejor si tuviese algunas cuántas especias comunes a disposición de los huéspedes) y, lo mejor de todo, muy alejada ideal para ver auroras. Cuando llegas no te atiende nadie, hay una habitación con tu nombre y la llave puesta. Hay un teléfono por si necesitas algo, otro en nuestro caso no nos hizo falta.

Très bonne guesthouse située à 5km de la route. C'est très agréable de se retrouver au milieu des champs en Islande.
