We stayed for one night. The bathroom was smelly and breakfast too pricey for what it offered. It does have nice mountain views but so do other places. Friendly staff. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by their incredibly enthusiastic and friendly farm dog, such a delight! The cottage was clean, warm and had everything we needed. This is the perfect location to do some star gazing or watch the northern lights!

Hoping to do another Iceland trip in the summer one day and will definitely try to visit again!

We didn’t even stay here, but when we stopped by the owner let us explore his property and see the waterfall. But the best part was without a doubt their dog. SUPER friendly and he even came with us on our hike. I love dogs but even if you don’t you’ll love their dog!

We loved our stay at the cozy cottage Gala. Off the beaten path on the eastern coast of Iceland, this is a great place to spend the night if you’re driving around the ring road. We were so pleased with our stay, and would love to come back!

We stayed in one of those beautiful cottages spontaneously, because we got stuck in the snow on the road next to it. The owner of the cottages pulled us out and we were thankful that we could stay there until next day when the storm is over. The guys were very helpful and the cottage cozy and comfortable- with wonderful view. Because of this experience, our bad insidence turned into a positiv icelandic adventure. Thank you so much!

Drove over 350 miles from Reykjavik and arrive to this beautiful cottage. The building looks sturdy and well constructed. The inside is very cozy, and the surrounding view was amazing!! Unfortunately we went there during the rainy season and it rain the whole time, so we couldn't explore the area as much as we wanted to. However, I had a great time there and would most definitely go back if I go back to iceland. Give this place a shot, you will love it!

Cozy cottages, with everything you'll need to feel at home! We checked in late at night and we figured out that our name and assigned cottage was printed out and pasted on a piece of paper outside. There was also a printout of a map showing where the cottages were located! The keys for the cottage were in the cottage and was a self serve kind of check in which was amazing! Paying for the stay was an online payment link which was emailed out.

Very cute little voyages with all cooking utensils, kettle, stove and oven. Perfect for a family. Also had animals roaming around which made it feel so cosy and cute.
