Elegant gem of a restaurant in a beautifully restored old house by the ocean. Perfectly fresh seafood, lamb, one of best seafood soups I've had (this from a Tokyo resident). The white-haired waitress also happens to look like the Norse goddess of the ocean. Favourite meal in Iceland so far.

We decided on this relatively new restaurant over the famous Pakkus across the street and we're very happy with the wonderful experience. Situated in an historical old house, the decor is warm and inviting with charming details everywhere. The service was very attentive. The food was amazing- we ordered lemon sole and the lamb, both beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. We love this place!

Absolutely great place! Amazing food, we enjoyed the shrimp salad, the lamb and everything was very-very delicious! Our 12 points (from 10 :))) ) going to staff for their wonderful and helpful attitude! We recommend this little nice restaurant to everybody, who going to visit Höfn in Iceland!

This place is a secret in Höfn and you have to join and try the very very delicious meals here! The greeting was warm and friendly, like familiar and the meals and different dishes were served on a high standard. We had the Lemon sole and the lamb and trust me when I say that the Sole was very rich and delicious. All used ingredients are absolutely fresh and mostly grown or hunted locally and the "Bistro" operate on a level like higher class restaurants. It must not hide oneself behind other restaurants in the town. The house looks like a little nondescript from outside but I can promise that you will not regret to join this great place!
