We spent 2 nights in this Hotel, the rooms are quite nice, but nothing special. In this hotel there's no reception, and that created quite a problems at the arrival, we couldn't find the room (It was in another building).

Rooms are big and everybody got their own bathroom but the breakfast is not icelandic standard(no Marmelade, one type of bread, etc)

It's basically all you need for a good night stay. If you're not an idiot you can figure out the self ceck-in. Just open the lock with the e-mail code you received. It's very cheap so don't expect 5star quality. However During the night our power did fail hence the 3star rating

Decent hotel, all its bad reviews can be fixed with permanent signs (not just print out ones) clearly stating each buildings room numbers and a permanent sign with the self check-in process. People get quickly frustrated with autonomy, I'm sure management has to answer the same questions every single day. Good breakfast.

Fantastic hotel. Great Wi-Fi. Tasty breakfast. The self check-in process is pretty straightforward. If you use your brain correctly everything will be just fine.

We booked our room around 8:45 PM. There is a self check in process. The hotel didn't send instructions and wouldn't answer phone calls. I would not recommend choosing this place at the last minute.

After about 2 hours, we were finally able to check in. The room was fine and breakfast was passable. The staff on hand at breakfast was very friendly and helpful.
