This place is wonderful! The owners run the place, and are super sweet!!! We got in late, after open hours, and they had to get up and let us in so sorry for that! But they were wonderfully accommodating!!! If you book ahead of time, make sure you pay AT the guesthouse. It was mentioned that sometimes people think they've paid when they receive confirmation but this is, unfortunately for them, not the case! Reserve beforehand - but pay on site! The place is gorgeous. We fell asleep watching the Northern Lights through the glass door of our room!!! Then woke up to a beautiful view of the water, ponies, and distant mountains. Also, the community breakfast was AMAZING! HIGHLY recommend this guesthouse.

We had the most amazing stay! Eva-Lena is a gem and Steinbjörn is a great cook. The welcome was warm and everyone was kind and helpful in every way!
We can really recommend it to everyone! They really outdo themselves with breakfast. The rooms are clean and cozy and the view is out of this world!response / report this review -

The guesthouse is located at the coast side. You can see the ocean from the rooms inside. The rooms were clean and tidy. There's a big and nice open kitchen. I believe that the host probably like cooking. We made our dinner there by ourselves. The host is not good in English and he has prepared (maybe by someone else) some English instructions to explain necessary information to guests. Don't miss the breakfast. The host made excellent breakfast for us. Please note that there are only shared washroom and bathroom.

The most personable stay around the Iceland! We didn't know what to expect but Eva-Lena and her husband were SO inviting! They were the best hosts. They live on one side and the guesthouse is on the other side. They have the most adorable puppy, Sunna, who is well trained and so cuddly.
I would recommend this guesthouse in a heartbeat; the breakfast was included and great! It's on a horse ranch and she offered horse tours in the summer. I would stay here again!response / report this review -

Amazing place with view to the fjord. Newly built, modern style rooms, with nice common area abd kitchen. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also hot tube is available;))

We loved the place! The breakfast is better than in a hotel and the bathroom is just amazing! They even have a hot tube outside! The room window was facing to the fjord and the morning lights was just gorgeous! Definitely recommend the place!

New, clean and very friendly ownership. The room which is facing to the lake was wonderful. Had a great time here.
