  Great exhibition and good explication about the working of energy in general and about the Hydropower plant itself. And best of all: it was completely free!

  Totally unexpected gem, off a major tourist route. Free coffee and other drinks, great interactive exhibits for kids, friendly staff and a free detailed book/brochure on all of Iceland's green energy

  Very good exhibition on "Energy for the future" and then there was free admission. Very instructive and entertaining. And thank you for free coffee.

  Excellent hidden gem! Great interactive display about power generation and consumption, fun for kids and big kids (also known as adults). In addition we were able to walk the dam. Well worth a stop on the golden circle route.

  The exhibition was great and really interactive. You can spend here half an hour or so. During wintertime there is to much water so there is also a nice overflow of water. The girl at the exhibition was really enthusiastic and explained how things work. Also nice to visit with children we think.

  Skemmtilegt að skoða sýninguna í Gestastofu inni í Ljósafosstöð og svo getur maður seð þar túrbínurnar á fullu við að framleiða rafmagn.vsíðan er hægt að skoða Fræðasetur skáta þar í næsta húsi. Enginn aðgangseyrir.
