This place is incredible! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Dinner was great and the rooms are very clean. Hot springs have great surrounding scenery.

Very remote location atop a mountain hill. It was a wonderfully clean full service hostel with two lovely hot pots on site. Highly recommended visit.

Really hot pools with a gorgeous view of the mountain. Would be a good stop off stop after doing the cake buffet below the hill.

We stood here for only one night as stopover on our round-trip. On the way to the hostel it was so surreal because around us was nothing. Here should be a hostel? Where? But then inside a small Valley we saw it. The rooms and the whole hostel was very clean and modern. The only thing was the hot pool. We've only used the bigger one and even though the guest have to shower and clean themselves before they join the pools was there a lots of hairs and other things swimming on the top of the pool. But nevertheless it was relaxin to use it.

Due to that we have had our own food with us it was not possible to consume these together with the other guests in the big dinning room. So it was a little uncomfortable to eat in our sleeping room. But later we going down to sit together with the others and to plan out our next day.

The sleeping rooms are big, quiet and the beds very comfortable. Beside this there are more than one toilets on the first floor what is good in case there are sone groups here. In other hostels there are mostly only one shared bathroom for all guests.

The staff as well the owner are very friendly and I like the kind how he lead his hostel, with a big focus to keep intact the nature around or the try to serve mostly food from Iceland themselves.

Altogether a very nice place to stay, for a short stopover as well for longer and hiking tours through the highlands.

Nice hostel "in the middle of nowhere", two hot pots, awsome view to Snaefall. Very friendly personal. Good starting point to watterfalls hiking trails. Worth to visit!
