best host i’ve met. 5/5
I will remember this spot for the rest of my life. First, the guest house itself (more like a cozy hotel) is modern, clean, quiet and furnished with every amenity. A common kitchen area with microwave and hot pot is useful. Each room has its own shower. But truly memorable for me at this spot was seeing the northern lights. In late March this is a prime spot. Good company, comfortable lodging and great memories here.
It's also a cafe. I had a delicious chocolate-walnut cake. Nice place for a quick and refreshing stop
Good rooms with private bathrooms, friendly staff. Free tea and coffee in the lobby.
We had a big group (39). Service was slow. It took quite a while to get our food. Not equipped for such a big group. The food was good however. Servers were nice.
Quaint, little place to stop and have a bite to eat and a drink while traveling in the eastern fjords. I did not stay at the guesthouse, I only stopped for lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious and I had a veggie sandwich which was pretty good. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and the location of this place is right off the main road. You can also gas up your car. There is a small parking area just on the side of the building.
Nice
Great little guest house - room was super clean.
A great choice for the night. This hotel features large, clean and modern rooms as well as a small restaurant with awesome food.
good
Modern, large, clean room. Pleasant owners. Inexpensive compared other places we've stayed at in Iceland.
