Landmannalaugar is one of a kind and no surprise it is one of the most popular natural attractions in Iceland. The geological formations with their stunning colors and geothermal heat are super motives for the eye or camera.

Amazing place and well worth getting out and doing the hike. You go through several landscape variants starting with a lava field then through a muddy wasteland and rolling chemical coloured hills and it just keeps changing and getting more beautiful and crazy. The weather can change really fast in ocotober we had 20 degrees down to a snowstorm and -6 chill factor so be prepared

The place itself is really unique and remarkable. The landscape has all the colors that you can only imagine. However, the camping site is really horrible. It is too overcrowded and really dirty.
