  Heerlijk rustig plekje. Aardige eigenaren. Prettig huisje, voelden er in de 1e week van 2017 erg thuis.

  DIe Hütte war sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich.Wir waren eine ganze Woche dort. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte. Ein echtes Highlight war der Hot Pot auf der Terrasse mit dem tollen Blick auf die Berge. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Brynja und ihr Mann waren stets bemüht und fragten ob alles in Ordnung sei. Wenn es Probleme gab, wurden diese sofort behoben. Unser Sohn war begeistert von den 3 Hunden, die wirklich sehr lieb und verschmust waren. Wir durften uns auch die Kühe im Stall anschauen. Die Hütte war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Tolle, komfortable Betten. Die Lage der Hütte ist gut um alle Attraktionen im Südwesten zu erreichen, wobei wir meist den Tunnel unter dem Walfjord gewählt haben, um Zeit zu sparen. Der Weg um den Walfjord ist landschaftlich sehr schön, aber eben ein bißchen weiter. Die Maut für den Tunnel schägt mit ca.7,00€ pro Durchfahrt für PKW zu Buche. Alles in allem hatten wir eine wunderschöne Woche auf Island.

  We stood there for 5 days at the end of June 2016. Great place to relax. There are only three cottages each for 2 - 6 people. You can get there absolute privacy, comfort and relax. Cottage is fully equipped - kitchen, bathroom with WC, bedroom and living room for relax with futon sofa (can make a bed as well). On the terrase is hot tub with thermal water and gas grill. Great view over bay and mountains. You can have as well nice small walk on the shore after dinner. Calm place. Ideal for setting off one day trips (to Golden Circle, Reykjavik - only one hour from the Kalastadir, Borgarnes etc.). Good to shop in grocery in Akranes. There is also special liqueur shop. Ms. Brynja, the owner, is very nice and helpful, if you need any advise you can contact her without any problem. Absolutely recommend you for stay - at least for few days.

  Beautiful views, lovely cottages. The hot pot was fantastic. We saw the northern lights several times even!
