El Grillo, a local in-house beer is on tap here! They also have a great assortment of Icelandic beers in bottles. The bar is quite cozy with a nice view. The menu consists of primarily grilled options, including veggie meals. A very friendly place and the food is good.

Fresh cod was amazing. Best meal I’ve had in Iceland, and the local beer and vibe are great too. Well worth the drive over from Egilsstadir.

Great local restaurant and bar. The local beer is delicious. We were served by the grandson of the original brewer. The fresh cod was amazing, definitely worth the trip if the drive through the mou train wasn't enough!

Interesting little place. Very much a pub, but super cozy and inviting. The 'kitchen' is a grill off the side, which means most of the menu is nicely grilled items! Nice beer and a nice time had by all.

Amazing food. My fiance and I had the grilled lamb and tried the Icelandic beers. Lamb and potatoes was cooked perfectly! The bartender was super friendly and the atmosphere was just very cozy and welcoming. This tiny town is a gem!

Very reasonable prices for Iceland. The Icelandic pork neck and the lamb was done very well. The local beer is a plus. There's also a sizable selection for other Icelandic and import beer.

I had the spare ribs they were great. The place has a nice comfy atmosphere and friendly staff. Really great to get a baked potato instead of chips too.

Excellent service - and even better food and views. A big plus for their own El Grillo beer (even though it's made by Egils?)

Excellent. Great restaurant. The cook outside at the front bakes your meal on his barbecue and he does a great job. The trout is so good, it's seasoned just perfectly. The baked potato that comes with every meal is very tasty too. The lamb is great.

Plus, the ambience of the restaurant is good and the waiters are very friendly.

Had a simple Nordic decor, the kind of quaintness that we were expecting more of during out trip. They had quite a large selection of Einstok bottles, including the brand new Brett IPA. They also had a local lager El Grillo, which was quite drinkable.

This place is really nice cafe. I highly recommend it for a visit to seydisfjodur. Great stop for beer or coffee or a bite.

Kaffi Lara had delicious food for reasonable prices. 20 types of beers. About 4-5 on tap. Family owned restaurant with incredible service and a fun environment to play games, drink, and enjoy your time in Iceland. Not to mention the fabulous views. I had a hamburger with a baked potato and my family had the lamb and both were outstanding. If you're looking for a nice dinner that is inexpensive you're in the right place.
