Lovely and well-run inn and restaurant just a 5 minute drive from the very popular Blue Lagoon hot springs. There is also an observation lounge for nights when the northern lights or stars are visible and there's a small bar and fireplace area for other times. The restaurant's dinner menu has a good variety and features local fish and the breakfast buffet has a good range of choices including some vegan options (almond or oat milk and Violife cheeses).

The food especially the lobster soup and salted cod are too salty. May be not ok with my asian taste. Service is good. 龙虾汤很咸,菜都有点咸,味道很一般。

For what you get every peenu is worth it, soup is umlimited and redfish was cooked perfectly. I have been to more fancy places that dont live up to this one. Well done! Keep it up xx

Beautiful little spot for lunch! We stopped on our way through town right when they opened. The salted cod was easily the best fish dish I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly, service was great. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area.

A very nice place, a bit on the small side with out a separate bar area. They do have limited out door seating in nice weather. Selection and prices are moderate.

Food was good, service was not. Didn't bring water for 20 minutes and another customer who'd sat down after us was able to eat and have their plates cleared before our food arrived (after another 10 minutes)

The food is tasty; we had the Surf and Turf and the reindeer burger. The food comes out quickly - we were in and out in 30 min, which was slower than other patrons. There's no experience to be had here and there is zero atmosphere. I wouldn't go back.

Delicious, quiet, cozy. Food is on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. Eat the lobster soup. YUM!

Very nice Restaurant. Food was very delicious. Very busy. There was a little wait for the food. Payment is to be made upfront at the bar.

Really popular spot for visitors that come through the town. Food was quite good and considering the volume of visitors, food came out quickly. Good spot if you visit the area! Staff is patient and friendly. It's a quaint, picturesque town that is close to black sand beaches that offer epic picture opportunities, so prepare to wait for a table during busy tourist season.

Great coffee (compares to Australian coffee), excellent beef, and prompt service. The burger or beef sandwich are highly recommended. It was about 14.500 isk for four people to eat and get coffee.

Fries are tasty and large if you're looking for a cheaper meal. The beer is what you need to go here for though. They have a local brewer who does small batch beer that honestly blew my mind. It's seasonal so you probably won't get the one I had unless you go in the next few weeks but it was wicked. Harpa who works there is a right laugh, too.

Fantastic, huge sized portions. The club sandwich had very fresh, soft bread and was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended! The building itself is warm and cosy, with good decor.
