I hope one day the vibes and feeling I got in this bar with this people, and beautiful performers will spread out to the world. Bars like this makes it nicer to travel around and feeling safe in a really fun environment.

Happened upon this place while walking down the street on a Sunday. It was the only lively place in the area as we heard the loud music coming from it. Had an absolute blast watching karaoke.

Seemed like a cozy bar. A few levels with different ranges in activities. No coat check. About 15usd per drink ( seems pretty standard in Iceland). Good music. In the main street pretty central in town.

We stumbled across this place looking for a bar, and were pleasantly surprised. It was rather empty when we first got there around 9.30pm on a Thursday night, but it ended up being quite busy towards the end. The music was what you'd expect from a gay bar, which was a welcome pause from the mainstream pop that played on the radio on our road trip on Iceland. Friendly staff. The bathrooms are located on the top floor, and the drawback of this place is that it's not very accessible if you can't walk up stairs: the main bar is on the first floor (that's second floor if you're American), with bathrooms and additional tables on the second floor.

Very expensive local gay bar. The drinks are $15 + for a well drink and mixer. Very young crowd and lots of hens nights. No coat room makes it very difficult with a giant coat!

As much as tgis place is amazing at times i can't stop wondering why there are so many straight people there, I get it you want to have fun and all but i beg you please respect the fact that this is a queer bar and its like tge only place in iceland that i know of to hook up with other guys, makes it a lot harder when there are straight guys in there.

What a great little queer place! I enjoy the atmosphere and drink selection so much I visit every time I'm passing through Reykjavik. Love it!

The one gay bar in the city. There were too many women that were dancing like they were the only person on the floor, and wowza crazily hitting and bumping onto folks. So if you're going to dance here, keep your elbows out (or get equally drunk so you don't know what's happening). There's no place for coats so they get piled in the corner, and subsequently get beer spilled on them (due to said crazy women). Nice beats!

THE place to start your night out dancing. Unlike at other dance floors around town, you can enjoy the music without having anyone bothering you. The blended queer/straight crowd at Kíkí is always fun and respectful.

Such a good bar! The drinks like everywhere else are approx $14. I recommend having a few drinks (with the alcohol you should have purchased at the duty free shop in the airport) before you head out. That way you won't be so sad when it's time to keep the party going with a few more drinks.

The music here is awesome. It was mostly mainstream American pop and hip-hop to start and then somewhere in the night it switched over to musicals, show tunes, Queen and pure shenanigans. I cannot begin to express how fun it was. There were so many different people, nobody cared about what you wore, what you looked like. Everyone just wanted to dance and have a good time. Oh and it takes FOREVER to get a drink but when you only plan on a few its not that big of a deal.

My only complaint is that there are unique hours here and I wish the party would have continued for a just a little while longer. Unlike other bars open during the week they only open Thursday through Friday and closed at 1am on Thursday. I was shocked when the lights came on.

It's a queer bar, but there are a LOT of straight people hanging out there. Reykjavik is very gay friendly, so I would recommend that people hang out at places based on who's DJing and not based on being at a gay bar, but that's just my queer two cents.

Multiple levels to the bar, groovy scene. Different vibe than other bars, pretty chill.

I just found out that this is a gay bar :D We were there with my girfriend and another couple and from the composition of the crowd I would have never guessed. Yet, this is a great place with good music and dance floor. We tried the best White Ale here. We never had such a good beer since then. Drink are quite pricey though but this is a general thing in Iceland :)
