Amazing local bar with nice atmosphere and cheep beer! Was spending there almost every evening during my stay in Reykjavik and was enjoying! The staff is friendly, no noisy! Can be great for solo travellers and group of friends and maybe not that good for couples, but it all depends :) highly recommend!! Also Icelandic street food place almost next to the bar is worth to visit as their soup in the bread is delicious 😋

The only true dive bar we could find in Reykjavik, with big glasses of Gull at around half the price it can be bought for anywhere else outside happy hour. Friendly staff, welcoming locals, and a dark and private atmosphere. We went back again and again, once even forgetting a bag there, and of course it was turned in and kept safe until we came to retrieve it, Icelandic hospitality being a given in a place as homey as this.

Fun dive bar recommended to us by a man working in the Icelandic street food restaurant 2 doors down. Felt welcome here. Staff let our group of 5 go upstairs to sit even though they chained it off for the night. Cheapest drinks we found in Reykjavik!

Favourite bar in Reykjavik. One of the few places that didn't just feel like a tourist trap. Cheap drinks, happy hour is all the time. Free wi fi.
Attracts a more interesting crowd. But not for the family. Great for solo travelers and young groups.

I adore this place. They have some of the cheapest beer in Reykjavik, and the atmosphere is very unpretentious. The staff is very friendly, as are most of the patrons. I've met some fascinating people here.

The cheapest place in reykjavik to drink.
You can get a pint of "GULL" & a shot, for about a third of the price of anywhere else in the city.
Yes it's a dive bar, but it's a dive bar with character, that we found ourselves returning to night after night.
Great drinks offers at a price that can't be beaten.

Great atmosphere. I was surprised more people weren't in the bar but it was a weekday and probably the reason it was a bit slow. But the drinks were good and the music was decent.
