Service was fast. Cost is solid for the area. Most importantly the food was great and there were vegetables abound!

Good Indian food. Loved the chicken curry. Chef was kind enough to give us extra gravy when we found the vegetable preparation to be bit drier than expected

When I asked for spicy food, there was just too much red chilli powder! This made me.sneeze all the way through my dinner. Other than that, the food was pretty yum!

Very delicious, authentic Indian food. Limited menu as it is a small, take-away only place, but I highly recommend it.

The family that runs this started it up in June 2007 (10 years as of writing this!) and I've stopped by here each time I've come through Akureyri. It's a welcome dose of spices in a nation that's otherwise somewhat lacking in it. While the menu is somewhat limited, the food is excellent and when the menu says it's hot is means it (I say this as someone who loves and craves spicy food). The staff are delightfully friendly and the architecture of the building itself is impossible to miss. Prices are very reasonable (dare I say that as far as Iceland goes: they might qualify as cheap).

The folks working there were really friendly. Unfortunately, the food was unimpressive and I'd say that even if we didn't find hair in one of the dishes. :-\

The restaurant is owned an run by a professional from Tanjore, Tamil Nadu. The food is great. We had take out lunch here and ate at the street seating for the restaurant. Taste reminds me of home.

Food is mild and not spicy or hot. If you want to customize your preferences ask the chef.

A shining light in the barren wasteland that is the Iceland restaurant scene. Before this, I had seen the same menu at every restaurant over the previous 4 days (despite being in different regions)

Great Indian eatery in the middle of Iceland. Its spicy dishes were a welcome respite to the cold weather and generally bland food that I had been having
The chicken and the lamb dishes are very delicious. There are sufficient vegan options as well for dinner.
