A museum with penises lots of them, what else can I say? Super interesting to see though, worth the price to go inside and just see everything from a science perspective. Plus the couple side rooms dive more into culture references and information. Grab some penis pasta for home!

It was a hard decision to go here. People told me it would be a dick move. But in the end, I am glad I entered.

If you like penises and penis-related accessories, then this is the place for you. They have preserved penile specimens from dozens of species out for your viewing enjoyment. You can even see metal casts of the members of the entire Icelandic soccer team. What a treat!

Interesting but not engaging. It's a small hall consisting of 284 specimens of different animals but you can't really get the perception of the real appearance. Could be better if it's more interactive. Maybe show a picture or even better a movie of the animal with erection. Someone there suggested a sample tasting :)

Honestly this was my favourite museum we visited while in Reykjavik!

I thought it was just going to be a bit of a time killer and give me some funny pictures to send to my friends but it was that and much more!

The museum is one large room with a couple of smaller alcoves leading off from it, and we probably spent a good hour here if not longer, but didnt read the detail on every exhibit.

My favourite bit was the folklore area, where you got to see troll, merman and ghost appendages!!!

So much fun, well worth the entry fee, and something I would put on must see list for others visiting the city.

Awesome time! Hilarious exhibits and a must stop in Reykjavik! Check out all of the whale phalli, and also all the curiosities. The best part isn't looking at the exhibits, but more reading the accompanying material and learning more about the items on display. If you're into something that's a little different, off the beaten path, and will make for great souvenirs and stories, this is the place to go!!

A perfect afternoon in Iceland. After deciding we did not want to take in the sights of the beautiful, out of this world landscapes of Iceland's southern coast-We found ourselves at this cabinet of curiosity, a private collection of the most diverse penises on the planet. Pretty expensive ticket for "lab" of preserved wieners-wish there was an audio guide. I feel the knowledge of the self guided tour was lost in the wordy binder. Excellent photo opportunities inside.

The Icelandic Penis museum is a one of a kind experience. An interesting collection of real mammalian penises that is educational and interesting that focuses on the evolutionary bits of the different species. A bit steep of an entrance fee but definitely a memorable experience. Stop by if you're shopping in the area.

Not what you would expect! A lot of fun and really interesting. Buy your gifts here, they have really subtle t-shirts. Expect to stay around 30-45 min. It's right downtown so you can grab a bite and do some shopping after.

If you want stories to tell for years to come, this is the museum for you. There are some interesting specimens ranging from gigantic to microscopic. They also have some great souvenirs to bring home (I picked up a couple of phallic bottle openers to bring back home). It's much smaller than I expected, but overall it was a fun and unique experience.

It is what you expect, a room of penises. It felt lacking in substance to justify $20. We were pretty bored and done in under half an hour. The few informational posts were interesting, but otherwise you can only see so many whale penises.

A very unique and informative museum with displays of mammal phallus and others paraphernalia. This is a great for a laugh but also to learn about evolution in action. There were some surprises and overall well worth the trip to see this. I would recommend it! The museum is small so it didn't take much time to see the place.

Funny and cute museum. You can see animal specimens in jar, and cultural artifacts. It's a pretty cheap attraction (about $15) and doesn't take too long to see everything. Downtown location that is easy to get to.

We went there for a laugh and it's Exactly what you see online. However the gift shop was a very small disappointment (thats what she said, giggity). We definitely thought there would be more. Like a chocolate cock made from icelandic chocolate lol those would've made great gag giftsno pun intended. But they don't sell them, just squared chocolate bars with a star on them. But the whole museum is funny in a weird, creepy kind of way.

Funny experience and a great sight if you don't mind the more cruder of interests. Many, many phallic artifacts of animal species and also community donations from people around the globe. A lot of laughs to be had and also some fun facts to take back home (probably not for the grandparents and in-laws though).

The museum is currently quite small and I did feel it was a little overpriced at 1500Kr, however, if this means that the collection will grow (no pun intended) then I feel it could be justified.

Some very funny gifts in the shop too.

We decided to go here more for a laugh than anything and it was good fun. I was actually intrigued more than I thought I would be and am sure it could have some scientific interest although it doesn't strike me as if this is the museums main priority. I'd recommend if for mo other reason than you can tick it off your 'to do list'.

Interesting to see but you won't be in there for very long (an hour or less for most I guess). It is pretty educational and there are a few cultural jokes here and there (elf phallus). Fun for what it is.

Interesting collection, but it could all be curated with clearer scientific information. The cryptozoology section was just silly.
Still, this is a memorable and unique place, for certain. If you think you'd enjoy it, you probably will.

More of an art exhibit than a museum. Probably enough content to spend 1 hour, maybe 2 if you're really passionate.
Impressive collection of penises and art, folk and humor about the subject of the penis.
Not really any learning quality, but fun visit.
