In the UK it would be an average steakhouse. It is grossly overpriced, food average. Service equally so.

I had to have puffin, and so enjoyed the smoked puffin breast appetizer. It was tasty, but very small. The ribeye steak was alright, nothing special.

Superb service. Not a massive selection but what they do have is local source and cooked to perfection. Whale and puffin are two examples. Two complete three course diners are already composed in the menu for the "authentic Icelandic experience". Expensive but well worth it.

Has both whale and puffin. Price is a little steep but not unexpectedly steep. I'm normally a miser and thought the 3 course combo was worth it.

Not as good as I remember it. The staff aren't very friendly. The steak was good but there are better steak houses in Reykjavik. The lobster was delicious. The homemade bread at the start was delicious. I wouldn't go back in future as there is too much competition.

Had I know what is a Puffin, I wouldn't eat it, but it was so delicious! Amazing place, best service I had in Iceland and the food was just great. I had the menu puffin as starter and whale steak as main dish. Amazing!

Good food in a good location. Plates range about 40-60KR. Also have great Whale and Puffin. The Lobster Tail appetizers are bomb too.
