Beautiful place with a view of Eystrahorn mountain. Great location for photographers. Especially if you are interested about landscape, seascape and northern lights photography. There is also nice orange lighthouse. Whole area is nesting place for many kinds of birds. Unfortunately not the Puffins.

Beautiful views in all directions. Such a bright little lighthouse! We were driving by and noticed it from a distance. I immediately looked it up and insisted that we stop for a peak.
We were able to walk around and enjoy the surrounding scenery!

The black beach near by is one of best hidden treasures in iceland! It's not sand and doesn’t stick to your feet or clothes! it's small black pearl-like pebble! ! The grain getting smaller and smaller near the water, from 2" to 1mm. Lying on it under the sun, you don't want to get up.

A really nice drive from Hofn, the bright orange lighthouse looked great against the blue sky and snowy mountains. A bumpy gravel track takes you a short distance to a non defined parking area.
Probably worth a look if you're driving past.

This is good spot for viewing the Eastern Coast if weather is fine! Many Travellers scared of coming to this part and indeed the scenery is awesome!

Très bel endroit pour s'arrêter et prendre des photos. Elle est située sur la route 1 et il y a un petit chemin pour mettre sa voiture. Attention de ne pas abîmer la mousse des alentours, restez sur le sentier.
