Nice atmosphere and very friendly staffs. We had lobster pizza and Catch of the day (Arctic Char) which are really delicious!! Totally recommend to drop by this restaurant :)

Wished I had a chance to stock around longer for a bite to eat but I was just passing through for a coffee. Even though I had only ordered a cup of Swiss mocha, the cashier/waitress was very courteous and nice. Will definitely drop by again to try their soup. It smelled wonderful inside as multiple seated customers had ordered it.

Popular restaurant and has a fairly good sized menu. Reasonable prices (by Iceland standards anyways). The lobster pizza was very well done with lots of lobster !

Didn't expect a nice place like that in such a remote village in Iceland.
The french fries as well as the blue cheese burger were tasty and the service friendly.

I tried to eat fish at this place which I assumed would be easy, taking into consideration that this is a fishermen town. But the "fish of the day" was not available and neither was my second option (sea trout) so. quite disappointed I ended up eating mussels (which were very tasty). I declined the glass of wine (included) so when I asked to change the side of French fries for something "green" (some salad) I expected that they would agree, but they asked for a surcharge. The service was good but overall it was below my expectations.

After ten days of traveling across Iceland this place offered the best service of any place we visited. We left relaxed, full and totally satisfied.
Good food for fish lovers, burger lovers and great kids options.

I went here for lunch and dinner yesterday as it was the only real restaurant in the town that was open. The waiting staff were nice and the food was ok. I got home and went to bed having eaten the fish soup with prawns for dinner and the fish and chips for lunch (for breakfast I had cornflakes and had eaten nothing else all day. I woke up at around 3.30am feeling sick. I have had food poisoning twice before in India and Ecuador and unfortunately recognised the feeling. By 4am I was being violently sick etc. This went on till about 7am. I was working with a local business in town so this put me out for the day and when I gathered the strength to go back and alert the chef he told me to provide proof that it was his food, even after I made it clear I was not after money. I just thought he should be alerted to the fact that something he served made someone sick. Then he told me "food poisoning doesn't work like that"! He asked me what I wanted and I said I wanted him to be aware, take more care and probably remove the fish soup from the menu to be on the safe side to which he told me to get out. What a piece of sh*t that man is. I later found out he is the owner.

I am not saying don't eat there just be aware that he has made people sick and seem to show absolutely no remorse of concern. The burger place in the service station in town is a much better option.

Wonderful food and service. Best lamb soup I've tried in Iceland. Lobster pizza was really good too. Carrot cake was moist and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

This has been the most surprising place on our trip. We didn't really expect that much, but we were served good, down-to-earth food, where everything was still homemade and tasted super delicious. This goes as well for the desserts. And the service was perfect, very attentive and quick.

Great atmosphere! We ended up spending about five hours on a rainy day during a cycling trip, and the staff were friendly and not pushy. The food was good, though vegans should note that (in addition to few options), some things (like the breadsticks) contain cheese without that being noted on the menu.
