this was a very nice and inexpensive place to stay for our first night in Iceland. we had some very nice roommates from France and Germany and really enjoyed sharing travel experiences and Culture with them. The Guesthouse staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Fantastic personal cabins! Walking distance to the beach, and was able to see the northern lights here! One of the few great places to stay outside city limits in Iceland.
The homes were warm and cozy, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the scenery and setting was striking and incredible. WiFi and food options were limited, though this wasn’t entirely surprising given the location. I’d definitely stay here again.
We stayed in main building not in one of the tiny houses. The condition of the room was good. Kitchen and living room was clean but not the newest one anymore. The same was with the bathroom. Breakfast was on but not outstanding.
Lovely chalets and breakfast!
Clean and warm cabins with peaceful view. Breakfast is pretty standard and the staff were friendly. There's just no WiFi unless in the shared kitchen/dining area.
Good place to stay the night. Easy check in and comfortable beds
Nice remote location with private hotpot but bad WiFi
Avoid this place like the plague.
It was very dirty and the staff unprofessional. I had breakfast included but did not have a desire to eat there after one night.
I wish I had stayed in my car.
A plastic bead amongst diamonds I have to say.
Rooms with four bunk beds. No blankets but there are pillows and sheets. Shared kitchen - we made cookies! Also, there is breakfast for 12€.
Simple log cabins in stunning scenery. Staff were excellent, breakfast traditional Icelandic and plenty of it.
Highly recommended if you love being connected to nature.
