Excellent food, excellent service, well worth a visit and not that far from route 1. Will definitely go back the next time we are in Iceland.

Unbelievable gluten-free food of all kinds - safely prepared (safe for celiacs). The treats are great, but it was especially wonderful to be able to get soups, salads, sandwiches and more, and not worry. We went over and over on our trip to Iceland - and went back the next year. Totally worth the trip from Reykjavik.

No kidding, best cafe food in Iceland. Stopped by with a friend on our drive around Iceland, ordered some food, and then had our minds blown. The cafe is decorated beautifully and make sure you visit the toilet. I had a blueberry and cheese sandwich, yum. We had some home made bread to start, and honest to God it was the best bread we have ever tasted. My friend had a cauliflower soup, and for a meat eater like her, till this day she still dreams about this soup. Please do stop by for a visit, the food and hospitality is faultless.

Wow. Everything home made with fresh, local, organic produce.

If your anywhere in the area, be sure to pop in and enjoy the charming atmosphere, super friendly service, and excellent coffee, cakes and meals!

Is this the best coffee shop in Iceland perhaps? They have my vote!

The price is normal for Icelandic cuisine. The fish cakes are delicious and the sandwiches are breathtaking. Service is very friendly and we got some traditional Icelandic soup to taste. This was marvelous!

Best spot we ate at in Iceland. The food was amazing - all fresh and clean. I had the tomato soup (which came with a whole loaf of bread), the grilled cheese with ham, and a caramel cupcake. The owner / chef was extremely kind, and the whole experience was just lovely. This is also a great spot for those who are gluten free (the chef is herself).
