Best place to "hide" if you are cold. You can sit there, eat your snack and nobody says nothing. You can buy tickets for all sorts of excursions in there. Awesome music hall. :-) Love this building design. PS: Free toilets! ;-)

Beautiful architecture and wonderful acoustics. Saw a phenomenal concert here called Pearls of Icelandic Song just before the New Year, which was absolutely worth going to see. I could not recommend it highly enough!

My favorite building in Reykjavik! The architecture is absolutely mesmerizing and even if you aren’t there to seeing a show, it’s still a cool place to walk around and take a break in from your excursions around the city. We paid to watch the 360 Iceland video experience which wasn’t really that impressive. It was a poorly stitched together “360” video that was projected in a square room - so don’t expect an I-Max experience. There was some standard folded chairs to sit on and it was incredibly hot. Other than the poor 360 video experience, Harpa is still a great place to visit.

In mind mind, this is really a cool concert hall and conference centre in terms of its special architectural design. Such a pity that I did not have time to enjoy a concert here. But, simply wandering inside the building is a nice experience in Reykjavik. If I have a chance to go back there, I will get a concert ticket and indulge myself in that stunning building.

Nice concert hall in the centre of Reykjavik. We attended a short concert during the day. Te building is quite nice and there are a lot of concerts and other events on a daily basis. The concert itself was rather short - and we needed to rush because we spent too much time at the excellent restaurant in the hall.

Great piece of architecture that's lit up like a Christmas Tree from outside. Nice views of Mt Esha through the geometric windows. Very photogenic - go at night & take a tripod.

Has a very nice souvenir shop just inside on the right hand side. Very nice and friendly here. Beautiful building and is a magnificent sight to behold. A must see when visiting Reykjavik. The views outside of this building are phenomenal including some snowy mountains (at the time of visit).

Wonderful place, architecture pearl, and hi-tech interior design. Place you must see in Reykjavik even just for a while and even from outside. Modern progressive, present-day, up-to-date, visionary building fits to the Scandinavian culture and art. I love it. Cant wait to see it again.

State of the art concert hall and I think it is also a conference centre. Very impressive building, modern architecture, with a distinctive outdoors colored glass. It is next to the sea and walking distance to the main restaurants in the downtown area and the shopping street.

This is a wonderful must-see building if you are in the area. The architecture is definitely unique and intriguing. This performance arts center is a gem in Reykjavik and I plan to performances when I return in future trips! The performance I saw was one of the best in my opinion and it made my visit very fulfilling. Their prices are very reasonable.

I was down there for the Spartan Race Ultra World Championship 2018
The most brutal 24hours event. 11km loops with handmade obstacles and natural ones (ton of elevation)
Harps concert hall was used as the packet pick location and hosted the race briefing on Friday night
We were extremely lucky and got to see some amazing northern lights!!

Great evening and for Iceland reasonably priced. We got 2 tickets for about £70 to a jazz evening we booked only a few hours before the start and it was amazing. The building itself was also beautiful.

Harpa is a beautiful piece of architecture and a welcome addition to Reykjavik. The glass tile honeycomb look is spectacular and at night the coloured lights on the windows is stunning. The lights look like the aurora very special. Inside there is a concert hall, opera, 4D cinema, cafe and a couple of tourist shops.

This concert hall is really pretty and has a lot of interesting glass windows and architecture on the inside. I walked around the large building and each area seemed to have its own area and presence. Downstairs was pretty fancy and as you went higher and higher it became modern and sleek.

Such a beautiful building!! Definitely walk around and admire the beauty. If you get a chance, the "How to be Icelandic in 60 Minutes" show was wonderful. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

Great views of the harbor. Lights up at night. The cafe inside is great. I'm giving it four stars because they charge for the restroom and only except cash. Stop at the Cafe first for some coffee or a snack and they can give you a free bathroom voucher.

Tickets, reasonably priced for Iceland. Facility, Fire and Ice theme. Wonderful.

Symphony Orchestra quality, exceptional! Equal to that of ensembles Insidious 20 times the size of Reykjavik.

Food, adequate, though not completely filling and prices were slightly above local area.

It's a beautiful building with lovely views and lights. Though, I had a hard time fully appreciating what it had to offer while needing a restroom. We were there later in the evening, so maybe it's different earlier on in the day. For people who have never had to pay for restrooms before, it was 3 dollars(3,000 isk). Considering gas money, it was cheaper to drive to our lodging than to use their restroom. I totally recommend checking the place out, but use the restroom before you go.

Amazing place. We were here on a sunny day and the shadow play off the windows was a sight to behold. My camera could not stop taking pictures Definitely do the guided tour. Not only do you get to see the concert halls and get a nice, friendly explanation, but you also get much better views on the architecture. 25% discount with a reykjavik card.

High-tech design building facing the sea. It is Opera House, Concert Hall, Exhibition Center at the same time. Huge parking underground with pay and display method. You must take a walk outside and inside the building. At the time of our visit there was a display of great pictures of Iceland in huge flat screens, we loved those pics. Beautiful souvenir shop with high prices but it worths to have a look.

This concert hall is absolutely beautiful. It was one of the highlights of our trip to just go in and walk around and look at all the beautiful architecture and glass pieces. There are a few restaurants a bar and some shops inside in the building is open to tour at any time. Unfortunately we did not get the chance to see a show there but even just walking around it was magnificent. I highly recommend going and walking around and taking photos at any time of day. We went at both the evening and during the day to get beautiful photos!

Not only is the conference hall amazing but the restaurant is too. I had the Reindeer Tatar and words can't describe how good it was! The whole group loved their food. Hope your experience is just as good.

Beautiful Harpa is a spacious concert and conference hall in the heart of Reykjavik close by the old harbour.

There are several conference halls of several sizes and a big concert hall for around two thousand people.

The parking is a bit expensive, so maybe consider parking close by and walking a bit if the weather allows.

The area next to Harpa is being developed these days, and will have a five star hotel and a commercial area. I can't wait for it to open.

I went there to see the show, How To Be Icelandic in 60 minutes. It was witty and engaging. The Harpa is a gorgeous building inside and out. It is worth seeing a show there.

Beautiful building, and worth visiting just to walk around in, both during the day and at night. Saw a show(Pearls of Icelandic Song), which was very enjoyable. The only downside is the building layout is definitely confusing and had to ask for directions more than once to get to the show! Everyone was very helpful in directing our group however.

Harpa felt like the heart of Reykjavik. The building itself is beautiful, shimmering and changing color with the light and from different angles. Inside was a view of Icelandic life. When we were visiting, there was a technology expo and a 5K. It was a gathering place and full of life. We saw the show "How To Become Icelandic in 60 Minutes," and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night of laughs.
