It wasn’t open the whole camping in Easter but you could park and use the kitchen, dining room and toilet with shower and it was so cheap. I totally recommend it.

We were here in March. Campsite itself was closed, but we were able to park in front of it. The heated house with kitchen, bathrooms and beds was open and accessible after calling the owners.

Wonderful and super big CampSite. It's divided in different areas with games for kids (and adults) all around. The common room is well furnished but closes early in the night.

We camped here in the winter. It was ok had a kitchen and dining area all inside. You have to pay 400 kr for 24hrs of Wifi. Otherwise it was alright.

Really nice campsite with good facilities. Many clean toilets and showers (no extra charge, no time limit). Kitchen with dining room which can get very crowded in the evening.

This was one of our favourite campsites in Iceland, and we stayed more nights then we originally planned to. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even went above and beyond to help us when our camper van got stuck in some soft gravel close to the campsite (bad place to park to take pictures of ponies!) The bathrooms were warm and relatively spacious, and the showers are free, and there is good space to wash up. The ground was a bit soggy in October and the only real negative point was that the kitchen is very small and badly laid out for communal use. But there are walks nearby, a play area and washer/dryer facilities, a great place for families I would say.

1400 ISK per person (in tent). Nice bathroom included in price. Not many benches outside but we were there in the end of September so they’re probably preparing for end of the season.

The best family friendly campground we experienced in Iceland. There are several small shallow ponds with fun features for children. This campground and the surrounding forested area had dozens of cute domestic rabbits roaming free. There are also many ducks that come running when food may be made available to them. Our son had so much fun hand feeding them bran flake cereal. Bathrooms were tidy with 5 toilet stalls and 2 showers. Outdoor area for cleaning cookware. The main building with community kitchen is a bit of a walk from the camp area. The minigolf was not open during our stay.

One of the best campsites we stayed at in June during our Ring Road trip on a campervan. Also cheaper than many of the other campsites we stayed in. Showers were included and it had a nice actual kitchen for us to use in the building by the entrance, there was also a nice indoor dining area so that we could be warm while we ate.

Bathrooms were very clean and there were sinks outside for washing dishes. Had a nice little obstacle course by a pond.

One of the best campsites we stayed at, the facilities are great! A hot shower is even included in the price which is a massive bonus. This is a great site for families with a pond that has climbing frames on it, there are boats and football pitch, lots to do.

One of the best camping sites is all Iceland. Great staff, awesome location, perfect WC and shower areas, good ground for tents with several lowered points for wind breaking. You can also use the kitchen and meal area in the small building near entrance. This building also has a shower cabinet I've use one time I arrived at the end of April / beg. of May. Just a few minutes away from Akureyri center by car.

Really nice location to camp. We arrived late but someone was there to welcome us and was very friendly. We used the newer bathrooms and showers and they were very clean and warm. The main place with the kitchen and bathroom I didn't like that much and it was filthier.

My wife and I had an awful experience with the host of this campsite. We stayed at 3 other campsites around Iceland in October, and all of them were free to use. You can pay coins for the showers, but the kitchens and bathrooms are free. We arrived to this site at 21:00 with our camper van and parked in the dirt parking lot. Nobody was at the campsite except for us. We used the bathroom and little kitchen and went to sleep in our van. The next morning we heated up some soup in the kitchen and were eating. The owner came in and asked me if I stayed the night. I replied yes, and he insisted I go with him immediately outside to his office to pay him. I asked "pay for what?" and he said for using the services. I tried to tell him that we had stayed at multiple campsites and none of them charged, and wanted to know why his was different. There was no posted fees or collection box anywhere. He wanted nothing to do with our questions or wanting an explanation. Long story short, he walked us across the parking lot to a little booth that has a little piece of paper on the back side of the window with a posted fee of 1300 ($12) per person. We explained we never went to that area of the campground, that we parked and walked inside the main building, and the only posted costs was for using the upstairs sleeping loft, which we didn't use. We didn't feel it was fair to be charged 2400 when we were presuming it was free. We never would have used his bathroom or stove. We had our own stove. He got very upset and started yelling and demanding money. He threatened to call the police on us, which we replied that we would love to speak to the police. He wanted to charge us money for something when he never advertises or makes people properly aware of the charge beforehand. We tried to offer him a little money for using the bathroom and stove but he didn't want it. He yelled at us to just go away. As we drove off the police arrived and we pulled over to talk to them. They were very confused as well, and didn't really have any solution to this host's issues. They took our information but we went on our way. The facilities are decent, the parking lot and surrounding area are pretty awful. Feels like an industrial parking on the edge of town. But if you sleep here be prepared to deal with a very short tempered, non negotiable host.

Great campsite! Sites were large so we had privacy. They have a common area that is heated and has a kitchen and a computer w internet. Great hiking there as well, beautiful streams and mountains. We saw the Northern Lights here ad well! def recommended.
