Had trouble finding this restaurant as it does not have any signs up. Plenty of parking in front. Food was decent but price was on the high side. We ordered the grilled prawn pasta and pork schnitzel. Prawn was kind of bland but schnitzel was good. Service was fast but we were there on a non-busy time of the day.

This restaurant is a great stop in Vik. The thing i loved the most is that they serve several vegetarian options! I ordered the vegetarian cheese burger and it came on what looked like a homemade rice based patty. It came with cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce and a delicious sauce. It came with potato wedges that were okay. I thought my burger portions were fairly large by Iceland standards. This place seemed to have a lot of American food (pizza and burgers) but it also had fish and icelandic dishes.

My Arctic char was definitely really good, nice taste and good side dishes. The burger and the lamb were good. I gave 3 stars for the price..25€ for a burger is definitely to high even for Iceland. Service was normal and fast. Toilet clean. Possible to pay with cash and card.

Amazing food, went here twice on a visit. Had the house burger the first time and the bryde special pizza the second. Absolutely amazing and delicious food. Their desserts looked amazing but I was way too full to eat one. My wife had their latte and she said it was some of the better coffee she's had on our trip. For both of us to eat and have a coffee/cola it was about $55.

This place is a gem. The service and food are excellent. We loved the pork snitzel and burger. Be ready to wait in line at least 30 minutes as this place it's generally quite crowded.

Cosy with friendly staff, not touristy like other cafes in Vik! Good place for hot drinks or food. Can be hard to find but it is attached to the tourist office, just go in the door to the right of the tourist office :-)

Close parking right opposite! Not the easiest to find but it’s right next to an information and we’ll worth the look!
Bathrooms are clean, food was great (burger and cod) quick service - all round a very decent find

Great cozy atmosphere, incredibly friendly and warm-hearted service, awesome cakes and one of the best pizzas we've had to date. A perfect spot to unwind and relax after a day full of explorations. Make sure to stop by while passing through Vík!

Delicious food. Most fairly priced food we've had since being here. Great staff. Was difficult to find - it doesn't have an obvious sign. Look for the information centre and it's next to there :)

The first restaurant in Iceland that I didn't like. The mushroom soup feels like it came from the can. The bread is old. The cod fish was really bad. The lamb sandwich is good but the bread is old. Overall the food was disappointing. Service is ok.

There is an interesting selection of Pizza at this location. We tried the Garlic Pizza and Icelandic Cheese Pizzas. They are thin crust pizzas which come in 9 and 12 inch varieties.
If you are looking for Brooklyn style or Chicago style this is not the place. These are more like a brick oven style of pizza.
The restaurant has signs coming into town from each direction, but do not expect a sign in the front. There is a small wood plaque above the door, but it is the nearest end of the building just past the Puffin Hotel. The same building holds the information office.
The lot across the street is used for parking. We were there Sunday evening (7:30 PM) and the wait for a table (3 People) was about 30 minutes. It is a very small dining room, so accommodating large groups during busy times may be a challenge.
The service was not very fast, but the food was great. You pay at the bar when the meal is complete.

For such a popular stopover town on the ring road, there are very few options for food. However in spite of the lack of competition the food and service was still excellent. Specially loved the sea food pizza. However do expect 20-30 mins waiting in busy season. Also the kitchen closes around 9pm so be in time

We loved this pizza so much we came back twice! I ordered the garlicpizza and added sauce and onion and no joke, it was maybe the best pizza I've ever had. The store in the back in adorable too! Highly recommend this spot!!!

We were staying in Vik for the night and based on reviews for different restaurants in Vik we decided to give Halldorskaffi a try. It ended up being very pleasant and tasty, the food was so fresh and tasty! Even the pizza was pretty good. Would definitely recommend! Also, the wait staff are quite attentive and kind and will make sure you have an enjoyable meal.

The food was pretty good. Between 4 people we had the bacon wrapped dates to start, and for mains we had the steak sandwich, schnitzels and a pizza. The schnitzel is pretty delicious, especially with the jam.

I'm not sure what we had for dessert but it was a big lump of meringue mixed with cream, mint chocolate and honeycomb, with a lather of very sugary chocolate icing on top. You could taste how bad it was for you, but it was incredibly yummy nonetheless

Average pizza.
Small pasta, we were still hungry when we left.
And the better? We realized too late they made us paid 1500 Kr extra
Yes the atmosphere is nice but we will not go There again!!
