Amazing hotel in the woods. The view at the lake is nice. The food is amazing. Always worth to stay a night or even more.

Very nice hotel, probably the best that we've stayed at in Iceland, though I wouldn't suggest paying the price for the dinner buffet, it wasn't that good and the Indian food restaurant looked much better.

Enjoyed the food. Rooms are very clean. Loved the scenery outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We rented two cottages for the night, but we were upgraded to two of the premium rooms instead because the heater wasn't working. We later checked out the cottages on the outside and we noticed the lawn wasn't maintained yet, so I'm assuming the cottages just weren't ready for guests. The dinner and breakfast were super yummy and I especially liked the music playing during breakfast. Chill indie folk music to really set the mood. I'd definitely recommend staying here! The rooms were neat and it was comfortable.

Wonderful newly renovated hotel with beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. Slept well here. Best breakfast served here of all 13 hotels we have stayed at in Iceland.

The new rooms are comfortable and nice with excellent lake view. Very fast Internet in the room without password. Be sure to stay in the new rooms. The others look terrible.

Beautiful setting. Nice, clean and comfortable room. We had a triple with plenty of room. Only downside was no WiFi in the room, only in public areas. Good breakfast was included.Lots of hikes nearby.
