Makes for a nice tea-and-cake pit stop; while the cakes are just ok, the shop itself is very charming.

Stopped in for a cup of tea, it is the kind of place that only works in such an isolated and small community. Loads of different sofas, books everywhere, board games and paintings: not far off having a drink at your aunt's house, in the best possible way. No more expensive than anywhere else in Iceland, very friendly staff who speak perfect English, and the toilet is clean and easily accessed.

A very cozy coffee and flower shop. Very friendly staff, very good tea, the cakes were regular, but the overall atmosphere made up for that.

Stopped in Borgarnes on the way back to Reykjavik. Randomly found this Cafe. Good latte and hot chocolate with tasty berry cheesecake on the side. Cosy tea shop. Fairy garden comes to mind.

Stayed here for one night. We loved the location, the view in the kitchen and living room are out of this world, the beds were nice and the bathroom was great. There's coffee and a fridge in the kitchen too.

I give this 4 instead of 5 stars as the curtains weren't so blackout, the room was quite stuffy (We didn't see the fans) and there's only on bathroom, which we had to wait for quite a bit.

The restaurant downstairs is equally cozy. The quiche was great and the Icelandic pancake was a great new thing to try. Price is pretty normal.

This place was amazing. The interior feels super cozy. It is full of couches and comfy chairs to warm up on with a cappuccino. The food is delicious as well. Our group enjoyed everything from a grilled panini to a beautiful piece of apple cake. If I am ever back this way, I will definitely stop back in.

Fantastically warm welcome and very comfortable. Careful not to fall asleep in the super relaxed cafe. Wished I was free to enjoy more. Thanks!

We didn't stay here but stopped on the evening for a warm-up tea and coffee. The owner told us they were closing so we said we would leave - but she told us to come in and served us fantastic coffee and a chocolate muffin that would melt your heart. She and the other owner were sweet and kind and very generous to let us sit for a few moments in the cozy living room full of couches, trinkets, and books. It was the perfect rest before driving back towards Reykjavik . I wish we had known about this as a guesthouse, as I would have booked us an overnight there too.

Feels like being in Grandma's home. Quiche was delicious and serving sizes was very reasonable. Must try if you want a feed around this area.
