Fantastic old rustic style dorms. I love those old oak style barn houses. Cleanliness is top quality and service too. Make sure you book in advance.

Great room, in an amazing house, all accommodations, really neat place to stay. Very warm welcome, with great tips on what's worth seeing around. I highly recommend this place!

We had other travel plans through AirBnB fall through, and we fortunately came across this lovely hostel. Marlin managed to find us space and even provide breakfast the next morning. In the future, I'll definitely use hostels rather than AirBnB when traveling internationally. Marlin and her husband seem like lovely people, and we would highly recommend.

Although you probably won't, I had this whole place to myself. Gave me a free upgrade to one of their single bed rooms too. Has a nice deck to just hang out and look across the fjord. Comfortable living room with couches and kitchen with everything you need. Very rustic/antique setting but in great shape for the age and well kept.

The hostel is more like a private home! There is so much space to spread out and enjoy - I could've spent a week here lollygagging about plus, do I dare give away the secret?? This place has it's own SAUNA. That's right. Why did I leave? So cozy

One of the best place to stay in Iceland.
Meanwhile, the GPS is wrong on the google map. The location of the hostel should be corrected. But the phone of GPS reaction should be wrong that's why made many people cannot find the hostel via GPS and we need to follow the road sign.
But, we don't know how to report this issue to google map team.

Felt like home!
there are different houses which belong to the hostel:
- cozy room and living room
- well equipped kitchen
- not very crowded
