If you like the smell of urinal cakes and cheesy troubadour music you'll love Den Danske Kro. Disappointed since I had heard good things about the place.

A cosy central bar with a collection of nice people on both sides of the counter. Often live music playing inside and adds a really good vibe to the place. My suggestion? Go, have a 2 for 1 beer on happy hour or later, play darts, meet people, have fun! You won't regret it.

It a nice and casual bar . we stopped there for a beer and ended up staying for a while. We had a really good time with some people I've met at a hostel I was staying at. The prices seemed fair compared to other bars in Iceland and the staff was really helpful. We wanted to try to drink like locals and they were a great help for that. We met some local peipl too and it was nice not to feel in a touristy bar. The place was really welcoming so I do recommend that you go grab a beer and maybe meet sime interesting people.

Nice place to hang out. Not too crowded with a great layout. It's not very big but it's just right.

Friendly service and full of locals. I got to try their vodka on the rocks as suggested by their bartender and also some brennevin which tastes strongly of cumin. Great selection of booze. No food here though.
