As an Irish man, I can confirm that this pub is as much Icelandic as it is Irish to be fair. It's lacking identity now at this stage. Paloma bar?? It doesn't know what it wants to be called!
I guess if you stick a couple of place names up on a wall, it can be called an Irish bar. No Irish music or musicians and most importantly, no Irish owners. I liked it but don't try to be something you're not 😂
I must say though that the pints were decent enough at 800kr. I couldn't complain too much at all about this. That's why I'll give it 4 stars. The people who drank here seemed pretty nice too.
Good Irish bar with happy hour beer for 500 krona and loads of TVs with different sports on enough said 😁
what? An Irish pub and no Irish music???? Just some soft sleeping music playing 😴😴😴😴 Time to go to the hotell and sleep i guess..the music made us sleepy.
Nice place, but! I would give you 5, but the music was kind of terrible. When i visit an Irish pub i would like to hear some Irish music. Jaime Walters and soft music was just sad listing to, so we moved along. Put some Irish music on! Greetings from Norway.

The best thing about here was a bar tender called Magnea. She was such a lovely person and made us feel so welcome.

Love this bar. Usually lots of international folks hang out here and most everyone seems friendly. They have comedy downstairs and a wheel to spin that might score you a great deal on beers or shots!
Quaint Irish bar with good selection of lager. That is it, that is all
By far my favorite bar to go in Reykjavik! Beers are fairly priced and they have a good happy hour. The bartender with the beard was the best! If you're visiting, try the black death, and make sure to buy the bartender one too! Outdoor seating area only has one covered table, so snag it if you can, because the weather changes all the time.
Cool atmosphere and great staff. Happy hours until 10!
Lovely lively place with good, opens late, lots of TVs for sport.
In love with this bar. Greatest bar in Reykjavik for weekday drinking. The staff is so kind and welcoming and there's always a place to sit!

The best thing about here was a bar tender called Magnea. She was such a lovely person and made us feel so welcome. She gave us solid advice about what to see and do in Iceland and we went back a second night only because of her kindness and warmth.
A place for everyone. From older People to students you can find Everything there. One of the longest Happy Hours in downtown and Not that expencive for iceland. Oh and they have a foosballtable and Dart!!!
Busy place in downtown area of Reykjavík, went there multiple times. Good offer of beers and drinks!
A pleasant surprise for a decent Guinness in Reykjavik (of all places in the world). Went here with a colleague for a drink and we met with some random Norwegian group on a conference/business trip. My colleague and I both got drunk and ended up in a Icelandic "julebord". Luckily I wasn't married at the time.
Nearly every city in the western world has a Irish bar called the dubliner. If you've been to one you've seen them all. Typical Irish pub.
Pretty good. Quietist place to have a beer. Happy hour pricing.
Possibly the best know and longest established Irish Pub in Reykjavik, not bad but pretty standard all the same. The Icelandic pubs have more character in my opinion.
