Not much of a campsite and they charge 50kr for every two minutes in the shower. I wouldn't stay here again unless I really needed to.

Plenty of spaces. Pretty big common area. They have enough supplies for communal use. We went during the winter time and it was still open, you left the payment $15 per person in a lockbox on the common area.

Winter time is the best to stay at campsites as there is nobody. It is very quiet and calm. There are always lovely to stay as it is safe and you can do it officially only if the campsite is open.

Good prices (1500 ISK per person per night). There is a electric stove and kettle so preparing hot meals is not a problem. One problem is that you have to cook outside, but you can eat you food in common room. You can have hot shover, although you have to pay for it (50 ISK for 2 minutes). There is also a possibility of washing your clothes and drying them. Great view during the day - you can see mountains.

Decent site, single shower, great surrounding area and night to camp, don't continue beyond this site at night, you'll miss a lot of beauty on the 1 when travelling west towards the fjords.

One if the best sites we stayed at. Very good and clean facilities, they even have a kettles and stoves to use which is handy for saving your gas. Even managed to see the northern lights here

Arrived by bike. There is a space to cook outside ( not so nice considering is always kinda cold and raining in Iceland but I found is quite usual having open spaces). Showers not expensive at all and really hot. Nice common room and nice staff.

Busy campsite (mid Aug) but spacious so plenty of room. Nice staff. Sensible sheltered cooking area and enclosed area to eat and recharge phones etc which was very good and needed when it gets windy. Very nice public baths nearby. Good value.

Nice campsite of somewhat expensive. They only have two men's showers and two women's. Which is not very much. We tried to beat the crowd by going early. But although the main building with two of the showers was supposed to be open at 6am, it only opened 40 minutes later, since they started cleaning too late. Friendly staff though.

A perfect place to stay! A lot of place to build up your tend. You can charge your electronic devices for free in the main building and there are also dishes which you can use. You have to pay extra for the showers but it's a lot cheaper than in other places. Staff is very friendly!

Spacious camping but way too expensive for what you get. You have to pay extra for broken showers The seating inside is fine and the staff is helpful but that's about it.

The camp site itself is well organized, tidy and with good facilities, although a bit dated. Not too expensive and staff is real friendly. Gas stations, grocery store and a number of restaurants are just a short walk away. When I visited in July it was however super crowded, leading to shower queues etc.

Very spacious campsite, has a nice inside dining area which is very important in Iceland. But it was the most expensive campground in my trip, showers and wifi are not included in the price, and even if you pay for the showers, you have to use coins for 2 minutes. Location is windy and on the side of the road.

Good camping. Nice view. Has showers 50kr per 2min. Area to charge and heated place to eat. Open from may but you can pay with cash in an enveloppe.

Best campsite I visited in Iceland. The owner was very helpful and kind. There is an N1 across the highway and a nice supermarket nearby.

Simple and wonderful campsite run by a very nice woman. Plenty of room to camp, three sets of shower and bathroom facilities. Indoor and outdoor kitchen space. Small playground for kids with swings and seesaw. Like everywhere in Iceland, if it is crowded, you'll have to wait your turn and good manners go far.

Overpriced at 1500 Kroner/person. I would be okay with that price if there were appropriate facilities. Not enough toilets or showers for the size of the campground. Charge for everything including shower. Seems to be an opportunistic operation because of the location. We would have been better off camping wild and using the N1.
