  We liked:
  - the guide Henrik, super-friendly and very interesting. We are glad he didn't speak on the microphone all along the trip but stayed available if we had any questions.
  - the suits provided by the company (we can't be cold!)
  - the hot coffee and chocolate at the end of the trip
  - we saw 3 humpback whales in different locations
  
  What could be improved:
  - all the boats from Husavik went around the same whales
  - some other boats were too close from the whales (they might be closer than what was advised by the code of conducts - 50 meters)

  Excellent 3h30 journey for Whale watching. We saw a lot of whales with Enrick. The boat captain was very friendly and careful not to frighten whales. We are highly recommending this company.

  Beautiful experience with Salka Whale Watching! The prices are cheaper than North Sailing and the chance to see whales are the same. For around 9000 coronas I will definitely suggest to do this trip. Also because 98% you will see whales. Moreover the captain was available to explain everything. And the cinnamon biscuits with the coffee during the way back was definitely a plus!

  Eventhough there was quite a rough sea, staff was absolutely lovely and positive! Great boat and information on the whales, lovely restaurant and cafe to come back to on the shore!

  Great experience. Salka did a good job. WHale and puffin tour. Gently near the whales. We stayed there and saw the whales dive and float every 5 to ten minutes. Others companies (rubber boats) quickly took a glance and speeded of. We were there for a long time to enjoy the presence of the whales.

  Loes was the best guide ever. We saw multiple whales, dolphins and puffins! Salka's boats are perfect for close encounters at sea.

  Well run small operation with just 2 boats. Costs less than the bigger companies in husavik possibly because of lesser advertising. Especially the 3.5 hr whales & puffins tour we booked. An additional 10% off for online booking. All companies take to the exact same spots on the Skjálfandi Bay to look for whales. We were very lucky to spot 2 humpback whales who decided, to our great joy,to repeatedly breach! It was indeed incredible to behold. Our guide Vanya, a marine biologist from Portugal, was indeed genuinely enthusiastic about her work! We were first taken to puffin island, home to 100,000 of these silent, elusive birds. The weather was cloudy, no rains, we were given good overalls to keep off the wind chill, the sea was initially calm but turned suddenly choppy closer to the Skjálfandi Bay. It takes a long time to reach the bay and again to return to Husavik compared to the time spent looking for whales. We were however lucky to have spotted them in the short while and much more than just a fin! Highly recommend this company for whale and puffin watching in the north.
